Your husky mix looks like our two, if we mixed them. Kira is nearly solid white, with just a hint of tan on her, and her sister has more of the cinnamon brown coloring. Beautiful pups! Oh, and ours act the same when you give one the attention and not the other. They've learned to take turns between the mamas

Besides tracking milestones you could track feedings whether it's breastfeeding or bottlefeeding. My boys wanted nothing to do with breastfeeding, but I did track when I had to feed and how much that way I knew when he cried if he was hungry or maybe he needed a diaper change or in some instances he wanted some extra time with mommy. You will do fine and you have loved ones that will be able to guide you and you also have a community on here that can help. Since you're having a boy, and forgive me as I don't know where to buy this certain item it was given to me by my cousin, but you definitely want to get a pee cover (that's what I call it). It's a small clothlike item that you put on the penis when you change the baby's diaper so he doesn't pee on you. You wouldn't need it all the time, but I learned that when a baby's penis is erect it means he has to pee...lol...my ex-husband got peed on a lot. It's something to think about. Congratulations on becoming a mom and having the toughest but most rewarding job. I will say, prepare for the outgrowing of clothes quick once they start school...lol...my boys are trees and every year it's pants and shoes (especially shoes) for school. My boys will be 9 and 13 in the fall months and they're 4'6" and 5'6" and a half...lol... I'm only 5"3' and they actually get their tall genes from me from my dad's side. 😄 Enjoy them because before you know it they will be old enough to drive a car. I will say this I will miss trick or traleat once the biys get too old, I love it so much because it is my favorite holiday, but love what the kids come up with on what they want to be.
The main thing I tracked after my son was born (besides milestones) was breastfeeding. What time & which boob was used so I knew which one for the next feeding, lol. Some friends I know put a hairband around their wrist to remember which side to start with. 💙 💤 Sleep when the baby sleeps!!
It might be “cheesy” but hearing to plan for the life you want is a very timely reminder for me! Thank you for sharing all these thoughts. I don’t want my current situation to get in the way of where I want to go and paring things back is something I need to practice doing because life is more fulfilling when it’s focused on what you actually value. I’ve found it very freeing to have a smaller task list bc it gives me time to actually do the things I used to keep delaying (exercise, organizing new apartment, creative endeavours) for tasks I “had” to do Also I agree with you girl I hate cleaning the washroom 😭 When i have no energy i limit myself to 2 cleaning tasks a week and survive 🎈

It's a boy! Yay! I had my son in a bassinet next to our bed for about 4 or 5 months. So much easier for nighttime feedings. So maybe you will have a little more time to get that nursery done. 🎈🎈🎈
@@teabean7 we plan to keep him with us for 6 months and in a pack in play during the day in my office. But I still would like the nursery done instead of building stuff after the delivery 😅 but we’ll make it work. We always do ❤️
I love the spreads for your GD! I have reactive hypoglycemia (which means I make too much insulin, which causes rapid drops and spikes), but I don't see too many blood sugar spreads that don't involve insulin intake tracking. I'm also a very visual person so yeah! <3

I have a travel diary I used for my honeymoon trip (16 years ago), now I want to redo the whole thing! Add the shiny bits. Because I am a magpie.😆 I hope your diabetes journey is going alright. I know it sucks to have to curb your diet. Having a nutrition background helped me quite a bit when my son was diagnosed with Type 1. Two things I always remember is fat extends carb absorption,(pizza will spike 4-5 hours later) and fiber slows it. My son's fav snacks are popcorn, Quest chips, strawberries, Chomps beef sticks and string cheese. Sending good mojo to you!
I definitely agree that trying to “come up with” goals for each area has not been working for me, I have to start focusing on it one at a time. This kind of layout is flexible but still functional!
I had gestational diabetes with both my boys. The reason I had it was because I was born with gastroparesis, which means I digest everything slower than everyone else, so being pregnant slowed it more down making my pancreas work harder. Diabetes runs in my family and was later diagnosed with type 2 in December 2021. However, I attribute that diagnosis due to getting COVID in late January to early February 2020. Just be mindful that you could develop diabetes later on in life due to having gestational diabetes, but you may never get it. It's rough now, but you and baby will be fine. Congratulations on your little one on the way, it's a beautiful experience, I miss the kicking. 😊🩷🩷🩷
