Hi, I’m Shawn, and I’m a food and travel content creator. Through my social media channels, my goal is to showcase tasty food spots and fun destinations - so come along for the ride!
That’s the short version of it.
The long version of it is that I love food, and I love being able to share that content with others! There’s a special kind of feeling when you have a delicious meal. Think about that joy you feel when you find a hidden gem in a new destination or when you go back to a city and discover a food spot you had never come across before.
I love showcasing the sheer diversity of food out there, from street food to casual to upscale dining - I’m covering it all!
I’ve been making content for a while now, and it’s seriously awesome to have a community where I can share my journey and experiences. With ShawntheFoodSheep, I’m all about making food and travel easy for everyone with my content.
I recently stumbled on your channel, Shawn, as I was searching RU-vid for channels that focused on Houston food. Upon perusing your past content, you opened my eyes to so many restaurants that I, as a native Houstonian, was unaware of. Thank you for introducing locals and outsiders to the rich culinary tapestry that is the Houston food scene. Just after going through a handful of videos, I became a subscriber. Keep up the great work!
its great, maybe an 8/10, but its not as good as people say, like raising canes (raising canes is a lot worse). the people saying its amazing are the same people who say raising canes chicken is juicy, flavorful, and crispy (everything that it isn’t)
Don’t forget to mention the annual Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo- one of a kind in the world-fun for families and kids. To escape the heat, just over an hour away is Galveston and the beach. Also not mentioned is the reputable healthcare shown by the Texas Medical Center-one of the largest medical centers in the world with The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center heading the pack.
In my opinion I grew up on hersheys and I still am and honestly I like hersheys more, specifically cookies and creme flavored Hershey’s.sorry Mr,beast I got nothing against your chocolate bar
...Even if you don't like a person's religion, that's hardly a reason to be needlessly rude to someone. Besides, its the choice of a business to let them into their business. Also, nice to presume that everyone that follows that religion doesn't wash their hair. Like, I firmly believe that there are certain religions that actively make this planet a worse place to live, but I'm not going to tell any of those that follow that religion what to do. So long as they respect where they are and don't try and force any changes, they're fine. They need to adapt to the culture around them, not the other way around. I'd do the same thing if I was in their countries. Doing otherwise is ridiculously arrogant and rude.
Eat which type of taco you prefer. Anyone who says flour tacos aren’t tacos have never been to the Rio grande valley. In Baja California, flour is only associated with burritos but in south Texas and northern central Mexico flour tortillas are common for breakfast tacos and other tacos. I would say pillowy flour tortillas are more tex mex than the chewy thin flour tortillas.
EL TACONAZO ON FULTON. IN THE NORTH SIDE ITS BY FIESTA BUT THEY TAKE ONLY CASH NO CARDS. GET THE CHARRO BEANS ALSO AND THE RED SALSA IS REALLY GOOD. THE GREEN ONE IS DECENT
