If tourism is promoted, mineral exploration is promoted, infrastructure development is promoted then it doesnt pose any threat to loss of endemic biodiversity. However, if nature designs its own way of natural landscaping, transformation of its ecosystem, through its own agents such as elephants then it becomes a threat to local biodiversity and endemic species!
