Hey King I like most people would like to make one. I know it's to a lot pointless. But I was wondering If maybe can make some code and just release it to everyone and see where it goes. You never know might be surprised. Just a idea, I my self would like to try it. I love arduino and mining. but I'm not much o a programmer my self.
for the cost and practicity, and low pins needed, we are using Arduino NANO, with ATMEGA328P-AU, and the "acurate Arduino Freq" part of the code, SerialWrite shows between 15 to 16 million of hertz...
search for "cryptosuite SHA256 Arduino", i don't believe in TripleMining stats, on my monitor Arduino Clock still in 16MHZ max, but TripleMining shows even 300Mhashes by second! Search also for "BTCSP Blogspot", we still looking for an explanation! (daily a single duino nano generates 0.08BTC is almost nothing, but on low power consume, thats okey)
I probably wouldn't help much because: a. The code is a mess right now. b. The trickiest part of Bitcoin is the bit order. So unless your coding for small endian it would just confuse you more. I can try to answer question though.
cool demo. I've been looking for some simple example code of bitcoin mining. Since arduino's pseudo-c language is easy to read, could you post your sketch?
no tutorial. Making a Arduino miner is pretty pointless. Most modern CPU's are a ton faster then an Arduino. It's just not worth doing in terms of actually earning Bitcoins. The only reason why I did it was to learn more about Bitcoins. My end goal is a hardware wallet, not a miner.
