Has anyone found out if you win something differently for comingbin first place in the horse race? You get legendary blueprints for the other's but only a gold one from that

Part my fault for lack of patience after doing these stealth bases about 5 times each and part the games fault for being inconsistent on when an enemy sees you or not. My goal with these guides is to provide you with a stealth route you can take in your own game. No route will ever be completely free of enemies but hopefully you have a bit more patience in your own game than I did at 6:03.
Kinda weird how your petrified forest thanator had weak points? Mine aby everobe ive seen do not have them. Literally specifically don't have them to make tgem mist dangerous. Its in the desceiption. That looks EXACTLY like a thantor from the base game or another breed. Or you got the one with weak poibt gills. Im jealous
Hey there! The petrified forest thanator does have weak spots. You can view its weak spots in the Hunter’s Guide. The weak spots are in the same location as all the other thanators. I will say that I have noticed a glitch in my game where when I use my Na’vi senses, the weak spots sometimes do not highlight on the two thanators in the DLC. When that happens, I ESC to the main menu, reload my game, and try again. That usually fixes the problem for me, so the weak spots show. I wish you much luck with slaying these thanators!
I know I’m months late. But many “school of fish” locations have disappeared. Many videos claim fish areas. And I can see them produce fish groups as yours video does. But nothing pops up. I’ve rebooted my Xbox X. Restarted the game after logging out. Come to this spot and nothing. Not mad at you. But I know you’d be curious to my situation too. Frustration…. 😂
I am so sorry to hear that! As you mentioned, I am curious, so I am currently logged into my own Avatar game on the PC and the school of fish are still there. I flew to the big log over Shimmering Falls in the Kinglor Forest. I went there at dawn with clear sky. I had to wait about 15 seconds, and then 3 fish spots popped up out of nowhere. So, the fish still exist, but the question is… why not in your game? That must be so frustrating, and I am sorry to hear! Are you going to these fish spots at dusk, night, or dawn? And in clear skies? Nothing spawns for me during thunderstorm. If all else fails, you could always submit a ticket with Ubisoft support. (I am currently doing that for one of the Star Wars Outlaws missions.) What fish are you trying to catch? If you are trying to get, let’s say, mudcrawler fish, you could buy it from Relun (the cook) at Home Tree in the meantime. I hope you are able to fix this ASAP!
Use Gatherer's Tea followed by mushroom stir fry made with heartland fire seed. You will get the gathering bonus of both. Adept Forager and Nimble Gatherer III. That way, you max out the quality and don't have to worry about time of day or weather
Hmmm... 🤔 Normally, the thanators are supposed to run away (and hide) when you mount your ikran. But... I mean... If you can kill them from the safety of your ikran, then why not 😂 More power to ya!

I absolutely loved this video. However, once I realized how much the second wind would help me get the full armor set I was already out of the main world. I wish they would add the heartlands feral viperwolf so that I don't have to wait till i complete the DLC in order to complete the apex challenge. Frustrating, but it is what it is ;P
Thank you!! Ikr?! I didn’t really use second wind until recently 😅 It’s a great perk to have. I do wish you could travel back to the main world while you play through the DLC for the first time 😞 Like you said, “It is what it is…”
Why does it says 255 with your Scrubber Moss when a legendary is max 176? Even with +20% with a meal it should be 211 All items and gear seems inflated compared to mine when I have all perks and use Nimble Gatherer III meal and the one that give perfect gather
@@ChillwJill176 without and 255 with. Looks like eating nimble gatherer 3 and reluns fish stew cancels nimble gatherer 3. Did them all again with just nimble gatherer 3 and I get the same stats as you. Thanks so much for your help!
I came across it by accident to. And it DESTROYED ME while I was hunting for materials (before I found your easy to follow guides) as I was severely under levelled for it😅
Onto the weapons finally, kinda figured for the bows that they’d be tied to the missions. But the AR and shotgun, I didn’t know where those were. Thanks, you make very good/detailed videos compared to others I used for the base games stuff
Personally I don’t like riding the direhorses that much since it’s difficult for me to fight when you get attacked by 6 panthers at once lol. I get on the direhorse once and then jump back on my ikran while the direhorse follows me around to the rock orchids lol Great guide!
Thank you! And that’s a great tip! Never thought of that! I agree though. Love riding around on the ikran more than the direhorse, but also glad they updated the direhorse mechanics and camera angle to feel more immersive!
Another question: In the hunter‘s guide I can search for a stormglider egg in the Heart of the Plains. But afaik there are 2 stormglider spots but no stormglider egg to be found. Did you find one so far?
Good question! I have not found any stormglider eggs in the DLC. However, cooking with a stormglider egg gives you blast resistance 3 (gain +45% blast resistance). If you want that same buff, lamp lizard eggs (rarer versions found in nests on top of The Standing Stones in the DLC) give you the same blast resistance 3! If you want to make a specialty recipe that calls for stormglider eggs, you may have to travel back to the main world until we find some in the DLC 🤔
I had completed the bow master apex challenge and unlocked the master crafter perk. (You must go back to the main world to complete this if you didn’t already.) This perk increases the health and damage of your crafted gear and weapons. Additionally, cook a meal with the heartlands fire seed as the first ingredient and anything as the second ingredient to create a meal with the nimble gatherer 3 buff. This increases the stat range of all the flora (not wildlife) you gather.
@ChillwJill Thanks, I have the meals for 20% increase and max gathering bonus stats, I forgot about the perks, I have them all so I think it will activate when crafting. I am nearly ready to craft so will find out what stats I will get.
No. If you use second wind, the storm glider flies away while you’re on the second wind screen. Use the mushroom pad and the cliff to launch yourself above or below the storm glider! I show how in my other DLC crafting videos!
It doesn't work on the petrified thanator either. Don't be fooled. She might have had some glitch or got super lucky.... but I've talked to 10 people this morning ....9 including myself. And after hours of game play and hundred of dead thantors....not a single one showed a weak points not even once. The death trick doesn't work. I did that before I came here. The death trick had been around since the original avatar. That's the easy way for thanators. But so far this site is the only one I've seen make this claim. She's very detailed in her work abd she is excellent at her job. I'm thinking there might have been a mix up. ORRRRR they nerfed the death trick and she got it before hand. That's probably the answer. Shevdoesbt sound like she makes many mistakes lol
@@patrickallen4374 As of 9/25/2024 at 7:45 pm, the second wind effect works on the petrified forest thanator. I just tried on my PC. Additionally, its weak spots show when using the na'vi senses. If you are having issues in your game, I recommend opening a Ubisoft case/ticket so they can help you. There are different glitches on different consoles. Yay! Glad to hear! Do you have a food buff active? For example, when I have the nimble gatherer 3 buff active, it shows an increased stat range in the Hunter’s Guide for the flora and wildlife, but I’ve come to the conclusion that nimble gatherer 3 does not actually give you increased stats on wildlife. Only the gatherable flora.
If you want to kill this new Petrified Thanator, just hide inside a slit of the Patient Elder. It may cause the Thanator go away, when you disappear for a long time, but as long as you keep running in and out, he will try to reach you and go around the Patient Elder again and again. You can also stand right in front of it and run inside just in case of critical damage. This way, you don't have to be as well prepared. You're welcome. Normally, just one Thanator shows up, but for the first time, I also had two of them.
Thanks for the cheesing spot lol! I like to take on things well before I’m ready…I’m kinda stubborn. I stumbled across the Petrified Forest Thanators (it spawns 2) on accident, and they were way less scary. 😐 I’ve noticed if you’re not strong enough, it’s actually kinda annoying to get the thanator’s attention…the white mist screen just keeps turning on and off, and you have to run around in the perfect spot for a minute before your heart rate starts to pick up. I had the same struggle with the Kinglor Wetlands Thanator at first, actually. Then one day I went there and it made me fight like 7 of them. 😂
No problem! And I know, right?! I've experienced those issues with the white mist too. I’m starting to wonder if that’s a glitch when the 7 Thanators show up! That happened to me as well! 😭
