Football is great but it's not the end all to end all, we need to put it perspective, kids getting an education and improving their lives is what its all about and now Name Image and Likeness have ruined college football people need to listen to Nick Saban.
he said dem Quip boys were scared? Get real. Game meant nothing, only thing on the line was bragging rights. What this doc don't show you is Once Clairton went up a couple TDs, Coach Z wisely started rotating backups into game until most of them were out.

If you have them a little bit further away from the green screen they won't cast shadows. Besides that small issue they did a great job on the project. I hope that you keep posting these videos this up coming year Mr. Quinlan.
Had the pleasure of meeting Coach Quinlin of Des Moines North... Very inspirational. Thank you for your service Coach, and thanks for investing in these young men.
I was Lt. Nolan's loader when he was KIA August 15, 1967, I would be less than honest if I didn't say I remember it like five minutes ago, especially the sounds, bear in mind that I was a twenty year old farm boy from South East Michigan at the time. It is a rare day that it does not come to mind. It's interesting to see Ron Martin on here. Ron, a fellow wolverine, was our turret mechanic.
Thank you for this! This was very touching! I come from a long line of army & military family members. I didn't have any involved in Pearl Harbour but it touched my heart. Thank you!
Phillip Quinlan I knew Major Quinlan only as SGT. Q. while at Marine Barracks Pearl Harbor. We played lots of softball together. I felt as he took me as a personal challenge, since I was not the model Marine in those days. For whatever reason our paths crossed. As a young man with no direction, and in bad need of leadership, he lead me in the right direction. I lost my direction again after he left the Barracks. Nobody has ever been able to tap into my abilities like him. I would follow him anywhere, that's a fact. I can honestly say he was 1 of 2 people that touched my life while I was in. I was both honored and blessed to have met and be lead by his passion. I will never forget Notre Dame vs Hawaii. Row of Marines shirtless, only helmets and flack jackets. A bottle thrown at us hits the helmet and skips off. He is an amazing leader and individual. I still live by; Lead, Follow, or get the hell outta the way ! sorry for the length, but it needed to be told.
