Hello everyone. My name is Alex. I am a content creator. I have been playing MTG Arena for 3 years. Mostly playing control and midrange decks. If you like my content, you can support my channel via donate.
Thx for the video. After it there will appear a crowd of minions, who will copy the deck without reading the description. So I'll go and fix my JeskaiCTRL. Thx again.
If it wasn't for the poor trigger system on nissa, it would be a great deck. Really clever idea compared to the bog standard mono red and azorius control.
Of course, this combo is fun. But it's not funny, when only one player is playing. Unfortunate, the deck is not competitive at all. It's a pure jank. For a long time I doubted whether it was worth posting this deck. One of the main problem, the deck can't beat control, after the first game against it I had to add 1 Duress. At least so that we have at least some chance.
Mixed emotions. On the one side - interesting combo with playing multiple discard cards from a graveyard. On the other side - the deck doesn't have answers on many threats and such a feeling, that is playing its own game. Needed cards didn't come? - we surely gonna loose.
Hey Brother I have a simic deck i would like you to try out Here is the rough idea of the deck list Bristly Bill 3 Tail Swipe 3 Aftermath Analyst 2-3 Make Dissapear 2 Ephara's Dispersal 3 Slogurk 2 GooseMother 3 Kellen MKM 2 Titania 3 Teferi Temporal Pilgrim 2 Bonny Pall 3 Sarruk and Goreclaw 2 Horn Loch Whale 2 New Capenna Fetch Lands Argoth 1-2 Boseju 2 Forests and Islands Would love to see you try it out!!!!!!!!! Thanks
Journey is fun. But I had to increase the deck to 71 cards to make Journey more playable. 48:02 I chose the wrong line. I should have exiled the enchantment.
This time I added 4 copies Three Steps Ahead. Everything seems to be fine, but I don't know for some reason, Esper Control doesn't convince me. I mean I don't see any special advantages in it, except Robbery, maybe The End. Deadly is cool, but Sunfall is a bit better. In short, a mix feeling. The deck performed well.
Was playing domain angels, 2 copies of deadly won them the game easily. That's about the only reason I'd choose Esper over Azorius but Azorius is still my go to control.
57:40 I’m not 100% sure on how the rules would work on that regard, but I believe countering Final Showdown might not have been necessary in this instance: in theory the creatures would lose all abilities as Showdown resolved, and then gain +X/+X and trample from Nissa’s ult. If they had waited for Nissa’s ability to resolve, then Final Showdown would’ve taken trample away from your creatures, but even if you let it resolve anyway I think you still had lethal through their one blocker there - I don’t think Showdown would’ve taken away the creatures’ P/T increase
In other words, do a straight play through without cutting games you don't like, let us see what this deck actually does instead of sugar coating your viewers with the games it happens to win. I like the deck but I want to see how it loses as well. This type video shows us nothing.
Im looking forward to seeing what you do with simic archetypes like this after rotation. Fading Hope is so good in a lot of circumstances as a 1 mana temporary answer.
I think you can choose the '+1' ability unless the opponent has a card like 'Get Lost' in hand; otherwise, they won't be able to eliminate The Wandering Emperor.
At 1:07, I think the approach you chose wasn't a good idea, as the opponent could use the Anchorage to launch an attack on the Wandering Emperor, if they had acquired the plain land card. But you gained nothing and lost a card, The Wandering Emperor.
