Loved watching this!!! Exactly like I was taught by my mother and grandmother. From the adding sugar, cooking down and using the dish cloth to hold the jar. Thank you for showing the old way of preserving. I am 79 years old. This method has never failed. I sometimes add some lemon slices to the pears while cooking down making sure to have A couple in each jar. Wonderful!

Okay LOL last time bugging you 😁 I know you may not have it but I got to where I was shaking and couldn't even write good and they said I have essential tremors. They put me on meds for it and has helped
LOL you're not bugging me. Buttermilk really adds something to the flavor if you ask me so I can't wait to hear if you think so too. Essential tremors, yeah I've got them. They don't bother me enough at this point to worry about it. Thanks for the info!
Okay... I had to stop a minute and mention that I never knew to dip it in buttermilk. I've always just cut them thin, salt and pepper them and dip them in the cornmeal and flour mix. You learn something everyday lol. Next time I'll try it with buttermilk dip

My 3rd season makeing pepper jelly, and this was helpful. Loads of information, This was the first time I heard using the pepper relish recipe for either, Great information, Lady, Just got my first batch for this year and hopefully the no heat jalapeño are as good as the regular jalapeño but if needed I'll redo this information but regular jalapeño.
