My name is James Rogowy and I have been an outdoor enthusiast all of my life. From raging waterfalls, to hidden lakes and untouched forests, I try to see as much of Manitoba as I can. Growing up, the summers were spent at the family cottage on Nutimik Lake in the Whiteshell Provincial Park. This gave me an appreciation for nature that has remained unchanged thoughout all these years. Fishing, Hiking, and Boating have always been my top three summer activities. As I got older, my appreciation of our harsh winters grew and I found myself lured to the quiet beauty of the powdered snow forests and ice covered lakes. Once again, Ice Fishing and Hiking remain my top two winter activities.
Join me as we explore the backcountry together and please, try not to get lost in its beauty along the way.
