Yes sir, I would say down size your shad baits like a 1.0 squarebill or a fritz side jr and cover water as fast as you can from mouth of creeks to the back.
Y’all should work on your fish care. Lots of dead fish, many of which were smallmouth floating at Ingall’s harbor after y’all left! I believe you said you won big fish. Unfortunately no one else will get a chance to catch it since it was floating in the harbor.
I had one fish die, not my big fish. That was a mistake on my part, made early on in the tournament. It is the only fish I have had die on me in 2 years, and I weighed the rest of them in 2hrs early to make sure I didn't lose anymore Fishcare is very important to me. I will always agree that fish care should be a priority in any tournament.

Let me ask you, which body of water would you say has the best chance of a 5-10lber? A 10 plus mega giant, or just simply the epic numbers day of a lifetime? Between Wheeler, Guntersville, Logan Martin, Smith, Pickwick, and Chick? Not wasting your time cause the Tenn river and Alabama is close enough for several trips over.
Guntersville has the fish in it for sure, however I think pickwick or wilson would be the easiest to have a good day at like a day of your life time without using a guide, if your using a guide probably Guntersville lol
I wouldn't say I have a favorite, I like the moon eye jig heads alot with the yum sonar minnow, and I like the dirty jigs guppy heads the scented jerk shad from zman is really good and the ztoo from strike king are really good plastics
You may have caught dinks but still you got to feel that tug on the line and that’s means it’s a good day. Fun fishing is just that, do not worry about the weights, just the times you set the hook is what counts. Good job out there, it’s been hot and muggy for sure.
Thanks! The current didn't come on until late in the day, I was bouncing back and forth between off shore ledges and structure on the bank, whether it was rock or wood just trying to feel them out. Most of our fish did come after current was running, and we were just fishing current breaks and points when they turned it on
Thanks! The main difference is the material, the stealth rig is made from a 400# test mono or flouro, from what I understand. So it is more flexible and pulses more in the water also it adds durability to it, because the metal used with an a rig over time being bent will eventually break.
No problem, I use 12lb test, a longer rod could possibly help as well. The further you cast the deeper you can get it, reel it as fast as you can with your rod down until you feel bottom. Also make sure your crankbaits are tuned and running straight
Enjoy your videos, you can deffinetly catch em, but you should respect the fish way more than you do. You are not a good example of how to treat the fish. They do their part and you should respect them with the release. Please.
If you want to catch them later on you better hope that LIVESCOPE is band. if not in two are three yrs our fisheries are going to get Hard to even catch a limit. yesterday by the I 20 bridge me and two guys in another boat watched two guys catch 30 to 35 Bass all on LIVESCOPE and was keeping them. And putting them in a Cooler so i called the Game warden and sent them the video. And when i got back to the landing the Riverside police was holding them for the game warden. not 10min later three wardens showed up they had 47 Bass on their boat. When the warden was getting my statement he Totally agree with me something has got to be done about LIVESCOPE because it's Cheating !!!! SICKENING !!!
