Great video! Question for you, we are heading to Croatia for a week (Italy first!) - would you spend 1 more night in Dubrovnik or 1 more night in Split if you had a choice? We'll be headed to Hvar one day, we'll do one of the national parks one day and possibly Montenegro. Would love your opinion, thanks! We love all the good stuff, great food & wine, historic sites, fun night life, meeting people, beaches, etc.
That sounds lovely enjoy your trip!! I personally fell in love with Dubrovnik! It can get busy during the tourist season, but in the off-season it is amazing. There are also some great areas close by like Cavtat or Trsteno if you want to escape Dubrovnik. It's a great location for a day trip to Montenegro! Even though I am partial to Dubrovnik, Spilt is a great destination & being a large metropolis there is plenty to do!

The Golden Circle was one of our favorite spots in Iceland. We somehow missed some of the waterfalls though. Will have to go back haha -Candice, Andrew & Riley 🐾
I recommend staying in or near Bilbao as you can see the city & it is near San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. We rented a car and it was the easiest way to get to the North Coast.
I think it’s more important to see what YOU want to see instead of just doing what others tell you to do/see.. If you want to see the north Island, that’s fine! And you say that you disagree, have you been te the South Island? We skipped a lot of the North island because WE just wanted to see the things that were on the South Island the mountains, the snow etc. For instance: we skipped Hobbiton because it’s a long drive for something that didn’t had our interest.. Unfortunately you aren’t allowed to fly your drone in a lot of places. So most of the footage I shot was shot from the ground.. I completely agree!! You should visit what aligns with your personal interests & travel style not just what others tell you or what you see on social media. We did not make it to the South Island, but hope to visit soon! & I am sure it is also spectacular. My goal was to show some love for the North Island as it is the less popular island for tourists.
The North Island is commonly dubbed as the “less scenic” or “more boring” of the two main islands of NZ. But I have to say I disagree, after visiting there is plenty to do and see and I feel we barely scratched the surface!
