Serious question: Is it weird or a waste to look for one of these to use as a fidget device? I prefer not to smoke and there’s something about the shape, sounds and hinged top part. Seems like ideal stuff to fiddle with (minus the 🔥).
I used to play with a Zippo all the time. There's a world of Zippo flipping and tricks. You can use a Zippo that's empty of fuel or one that is a butane version. The insert is required the feel of the action (for traditional and Zippo copies).
Well... "The show has different narrators for different regions. In the Canadian version, it features Mark Tewksbury (Season 1, 2001) as the host of the show. Lynn Herzeg (Seasons 2-4, 2002-2004), June Wallack (Season 5, 2005) and Lynne Adams (Season 6 onwards, 2006-present) are the narrators. In the U.S. version, Brooks Moore and Zac Fine (Season 9-10, 2007-2008) are the narrators. In the United Kingdom, the rest of Europe, and in some cases in Southeast Asia, the series is narrated by Tony Hirst."
How can I get all of that chrome off I just want to see the copper underneath I think it looks much better. Can I just sand it off? Lmk ASAP I just ordered a zippo but I want to take the chrome off when it gets here.
You could have ordered a brass finish model instead. Otherwise, light sanding with 250 - 400 grit. If you go too course you'll run the risk of taking base material off quickly. ScotchBrite on a wheel would likely work well, but that is a method I have not tried to remove chrome from a brass base before.
ALAPINO Awesome I’ll try sandpaper. I made an account on Marlboro rewards and put 30 codes in plus the free points they gave me I only had enough points to get the classic street chrome zippo, the brass one that I wanted costed much more points. Thanks for replying though I hope the sandpaper works.
Outstanding!! I did notice the test ammo at 3 times std pressure... interesting. No I would not hop one up but it is interesting to know to what safety factor they are tested too.
I've bought five Uberti Remington Replicas and everyone of them needed barrel adjustments because the sights do not lined up with the pistol frame. That is the problem when order it online and most likely the pistol I've purchased was a returned item. I'm sure there are gunsmiths that could fix the problem, but it's not worth their time. I have one gunsmith said it's not repairable. Another one just gave it back to me twice and have done nothing to it no matter how well I have explained the problem. Pistol hunt feral hogs with crooked fixed sights is impossible.
Junk revolver mine fell apart before I even got to shoot it it was a uberti distributor Taylor's company if only uberti sent me one I would give it another try other than that I'm convinced junk!
