Welcome to my channel! My name is Amanda and I love Gardening, Canning and Cooking! I am a wife and mother of 3 beautiful children. I enjoy gardening and learning as I go. I remember going to my grandparents as a child and seeing their beautiful garden. It meant a lot to me going to their house, walking their garden and picking things with my grandpa. My mother loved to garden as well and we would garden together. I love what I can grow and to be able to bring it to our kitchen to cook it, can it and enjoy eating it. Also the joy that gardening brings to my children as it did for me. I am also gluten free and cook a lot of meals gluten free so I can enjoy them with my family! Being gluten free does not have to be boring, it can be tasty and rewarding, especially when making things you can eat that you can't always get when going out! Enjoy and love what you cook!
Sorry, but this is NOT a Strudel. Strudel is a very specific dough, and it is rolled up multiple layers. The dough in your recipe is a puff pastry, not adequate for a Strudel.
I have never heard of that till you asked, so I had to look it up. I will say you don't have to use it and in the past when I made pickles without it they were very soft. So I started adding it and I love the crunch and texture of the pickles.
I made beef and broccoli again for my family for dinner last night but this time I used chuck roast with it. It was so good and I microwaved the broccoli rather than putting it in the crockpot! There was no leftovers again.
@@PuddinTane-ir7fy so delicious, I love lunches like this once in a while. Makes it fun and easy! I made a new fig jam that I was testing out on a plan goat cheese log and it was amazing! I am hoping I will get time to make a video on how I made it!
Calcium chloride (CaCl2), sometimes known as “pickle crisp”, is a type of salt that helps preserve the crunchiness of food. It is used in the food industry to help preserve the texture of canned fruit and vegetables. Sea salt is sodium chloride. In this case, we're talking about calcium chloride!Aug 1, 2024. It is safer to use horseradish leaves fresh bay leaves or grape leaves. Just because the fda says It is safe dorsnt mean it is. Thay have been caught lying yo the public many times
@@rafika816 you're very welcome, I hope you like it. It is so easy to make and my kids absolutely love it. We had it for dinner last night and for lunch today. 😊
I see you are just starting your RU-vid journey. I started mine over a year ago, mine is slowly going but I will get there hopefully. I have health problems that slow me down. I will try your pickle recipe, it's much shorter than mine. Keep up the good work! Cathy.
@@catslilcreations I just subscribed to your channel. I am very new and take it one day at a time. I hope you like the pickle recipe, my kids absolutely love it.
@@user-el3kv6fj6f I could but my water level would rise more, so I always do just 5 jars that are the pint size. I have tried more in the past but I feel safer too with just 5.
