Damn i remember watching this in comedy central in 2000 and it goes to a part where the screen goes black and a narrator says something like "at this point Martin went on to talk about women's hygiene and we all almost lost our jobs"😂 way funnier than Martin's actual jokes
This is a double standard world. Martin was banned for saying damn and ass, but Madonna went on Late night television, cursed up a storm, and got celebrated. Fast Forward to today. Times have changed. Curses are bleeped out, and the show goes on.
US Network TV censors = no mention of penetration. You can say "near the ass". You can say "around the ass". But you cannot say "in the ass" or "up the ass".
This ain't all that bad. It's gross, but not to the point he would be banned and people fired smh. SNL has done WAY racier insulting stuff. Must have been a stinky woman's association who band together to conplain. It's true some women do not properly maintain themselves 🤷♂️ if it's not you, why be mad?
So in the 90s Martin couldn't say this(he was also banned from live TV for a few years), but in 2020 you could incite a riot at the nation's capital were a woman gets shot, multiple police officers were assaulted and have a crowd chanting to hang the vice president, then go on to run for president 4 years later with multiple felonies. Women's hygiene must be a VERY sensitive subject😂😂.
