Sounds like a commercial. Anytime you install larger diameter tires on your vehicle, you should install better brake components because the braking distance is going to change. Personally, I like drilled and slotted rotors and pads made for tow vehicles.
I’d assume the metallurgy of the rotor allows for better heat dissipation. Pair that with semi metallic pad or a cheaper pad and you’ll most likely run into issues with squeaky brakes, brake fade, and pad separation/ cracking. I see issues like this all the time when doing brake jobs and people mix and match brands because it’ll save them a few bucks. Generally when you stick to one brand even if it’s a cheaper brand you’re less likely to run into issues

Just finished my install and test drive. Death wobble actually disappeared even with very cupped tires. Love this lift. Corners a little bit tippier but that is to be expected. I am talking like 5% so most won't even notice. 5 stars! Thanks for your install vid. It really helped.
I hate the lame flyover drone shots. We want to see it crossed up at max flex on rocks, jumping dunes, and running full speed across washboard gravel roads. Anything else looks like a poser SEMA rig. We know this rig can handle the rough stuff, get it out there and show us what it can do.
Your phone system is down at Dynatrac, where do I “0” my gage to then get the right pinion angle on my XD pro rock 60 JKU? Also are the aluminum knuckles be replaced with steel?
You can buy the ProRock axle assemblies that come with 4340 chromoly axles, ARB lockers and upgraded gears! If you didn't want to do the install yourself, this is a great option.
