It’s different from blender even though the developer is coming from blender background, and there is no planning for rigging unfortunately. But keep your eyes on an app called morphin it’s a rigging and animation app for iPad it’s under development also Naomi will add rigging eventually
I’m planning one already, if you watch the latest tutorial i demonstrate how to animate the rotation of two gears in different axis, you can add so much to it .
Do you know how we can apply something like this to the 3D model? Because some of them do not move with me, whether the main body or the legs and hands do not move
Amazing work, digging the music and the vibes. I'm constantly impressed by what you are able to create with Valence! Very inspiring and I'm taking notes on how to help speed up modeling!
Can you make a video for us on how to enter the file into this program? I am facing a big problem. I cannot put the object files into the program. (Naomi)
Check out this video, I made the object in nomad and import it in Naomi: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-x0a_Ybrzvk0.htmlsi=5y9MYqm7AaClLmhR
Excuse me, Can you please see if there's a way to combine multiple objects of different materials without them both becoming the same material? like Unlit and Blending for example? itt'le be very useful for me
@@the7mirrors Oh. But can you atleast analyze this trick for me? You know how layers record movement of an object or multiple? There's a trick with mask. if you mask the elbow joint of an arm while Multi selecting it with the seperate parts that make the hand and you Have to select the target object and select vertex which allows you to move all of it together whole having the mask active. Also you gotta put the pivot on the elbow joint before the vertex btw. Lemme just put it in short by sending you a vid, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SKJA1aH3f9U.html Layers record movement. so can you put a layer at the beginning to save the movement as one?.
@Chekzy-Official there is two main issues here. 1-layers will not record the movement of multiple selected objects at once. 2- layers are not ideal for rotation movement, the moment you rotate the object more then 20 degrees you will see how the scale of the object is messed up. I still have more animation tricks for nomad sculpt and will post them in separate videos in the coming weeks.
I'm going to get the app and try to learn it. But it's astonishing that the same dev who made the incredibly approachable and *visual* Cozy Blanket made the abstruse and *nonvisual* Uniform. It's got astonishing power, by the looks of it. If find myself thinking, "If these guys had make Procreate, you'd be able to open the brushes menu and say 'Oh wow, look how complicated that is.'" It's still complicated but the Procreate user doesn't really see that.
It’s indeed different, and requires time and practice to get used to, did you watch the quick start video I made : Uniform 3d editor || quick start ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4ForgTzqaes.html I tried to simplify it as much as I could.
Ingenious ideas! Very nice. Btw, I'd love to see more Uniform videos. I've stopped experimenting with it because there aren't many tutorials out there (which is my favourite way to learn). It's a shame the developer doesn't make more - he seems slightly reluctant, which is odd because the one video he has done is really good. He is very active answering questions on Discord, which is great, but I wish he would just spend half an hour every now and then to upload more tutorials covering the app in greater detail. Anyway, thanks for the vids you've made about it!
@@the7mirrorsBut it’s not intuitive if it’s clumsy to learn to do simple things. It shouldn’t take weeks to get used to it if it’s a good Ui and Layout. People will just discard it after getting frustrated in a couple days even if it’s got amazing features. It’s a great start but I think if the Ui doesn’t evolve quickly into something more accessible like Nomads Ui it will stall.
Nomad by far the best 3d app in the market no doubt ,but it’s always nice to have more apps like uniform and valence, let’s wait and see how it will evolve.
I'm still trying to understand.... this app. Like the concept. The use cases. Who in the first place is the app made for. What range of models can you do with it. And if it worth buying. I want to but I probably will wait for somebody to see where it shines. A lot of features but immediate usefulness is not obvious for me yet.
Hi Regarding your questions The concept. In uniform you can use the same brushs in both lowpoly modeling or high poly sculpting and it’s will adapt automatically For example if you use the paint brush on lowpoly mesh it will paint in the texture And if you use the same brush on a highpoly sculpt it will paint on the vertex. The use cases. -in uniform there is two pipelines 1-game assets (polygonal modeling with texture, UV and normal map) 2-sculpt and 3d print (high poly sculpt, vertex colors ) Who in the first place is the app made for. -3d artists who want to create a complete game assets without the need to use other apps. -sculptors and hobbyists. What range of models can you do with it. -everything, characters, hard surface, vehicle you name it. And if it worth buying. -for me personally it 100% worth. But if you only going to pick one single 3d app you better choose nomad. I want to but I probably will wait for somebody to see where it shines. -there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. It’s better to buy it when you are sure 100% that you will be use it specially at this price.
@@the7mirrors thank you very much for the answer. I've seen one of the devs said on discord that there are no tools for precise operations for hard surface modeling in the app or something like that. What do you think about it? Is there ability to select and move verts, edges and polys in one specific axis for example? Set exact position for them? Or at least scale them at single world axis? Things like that
It’s nomad sculpt this is the video where I created the robotic arm ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wouU4pwx2Nc.htmlsi=ggPx3REi2Ammc4BC
This was my initial impression the first time I use it, but after using it a few time I start to like it, It still new and will get better with time, I think it’s worth learning.
@@the7mirrorsdefinitively not worth learning when nomad sculpt is here and this app cost 60$….i don’t see any powerful tools that would make me think otherwise
@@the7mirrors I can't see, why it would be better than Nomad or even Zbrush when it comes to the IOS??? If you have this kind of competition you have to make an app for any dummy to be able to use!!! I bought it, I am trying to use it, just because I am a challenge masochist hahaha but it is a frustrating experience, if you want to make money that's not the best route they taking, can't understand why we can't have all the brushes in one menu, like I am seeing people saying it seems like they made the app for themselves!!!
