I want to know the story from Dani's side through gameplay. Maybe like a DLC that lets users play Dani's side with new information and pieces to the story, and of course some twisted plots to keep players interested along with all of the horror and jumpscares that come with Callisto Protocol. Who knows, maybe the developers will surprise us with a big piece of the puzzle if they do. It would certainly kick start some friendly debates in the community about the story and I think people would enjoy having two perspectives on the events of Callisto Protocol.
I am genuinely shocked by how little likes this has. This is extremely well done. Excellent music choice and he really really has a great Pace throughout
Dude this kicks so much ass! You performed each style flawlessly and using the edits to constantly switch locations and cosmetic items mid attack makes it feel really cinematic and stylish. This could’ve easily been the gameplay trailer for Ghost of Tsushima.
Can we all be honest for a moment? We've ALL sceen Glen's interview by now where he clearly states that his ORIGINAL idea for Dead Space was Callisto's story. The PROBLEM is almost ALL the mechanics work better and more intiutitely in Dead Space. Look, did I buy Callisto Protocol? YES. Do I like it, well, yea for the most part. BUT, is it ON PAR with the OG Dead Space? NO. Here's my hot take: HAD we have received THIS game in 2009 INSTEAD of Dead Space, 100%, hands down, we'd be comparing Dead Space to IT instead of the other way around. But that's not how it worked out. Dead Space had 1.) Much better atmosphere 2.) More relatable, (despite being MOSTLY silent) protaganist, 3.) More backstory, even in the first dead space about the actual nemesis (Unitology) 4.) REAL hallucinations, uttering, murmering, etc and necromorphs whose bodies were much more contorted. There is literally ONE monster in CP that LOOKS SIMILAR to a necromorph, and I suspect to keep from getting sued by EA they probably had to stop the resembelance there. IS Callisto Protocol a good game? Sure. SHOULD it have been better? Given more back story? Forced the player to learn more lore? Invest more in the characterization? SHOW the phsycological impact of what is going on with him? YES YES YES. THAT is where CP failed and DS prevailed. CP LOOKS gorgeous, but tells very little meaningful story, and gives you NO real information on the clandestine issues going on behind the scenes. DS (OG) looks a little dated (BY TODAYS STANDARDS-At the time it was Scary as heck), BUT gave us TONS of LORE, TONS of replayability, a progression system that made sense considering Isaac's job (engineer) a cool suit that itself could be upgraded (Missed opp. in CP imho) I think the game is great. I think it was Glen's pet project. It didn't sell spectacularly well, so I wouldn't say a sequel is LIKELY. HOwever, the OG DS didn't sell particularly well either and they made 2 sequels, so time will tell. For the record, I'm not pooing on this game, I GENUINELY enjoy it's different mechanics, and the story threads that are there ARE interesting, just more scant then i'd like from a narrative stand point. Just isn't enough to justify that 60 price tag when I had this experience better, with the OG DS and even the '23 Remake. HOWEVER, we can all hope that 1.) CP will in fact get a well though out, well storyboarded sequel/conclusion and follow Dani after the events of CP. That would be awesome. AND 2.) EA will see the merit in contuing the DS legacy with the actual team who KNEW wt heck they were doing, the boys from Visceral Studios. A guy can hope. And that my friends, is my hot take. Enjoy
In my not-so-professional opinion, it was epic. The editing is very well done. The way each combat scene changes with similar patterns adds a nice touch to the ''Warriors'' theme.
This might be the best music tribute video or whatever they are called both in movies and games. Your transitions are wild and rhythm/lyric synch with the footage is Edgar Wright level.
Jacobs story is our story, survival, despite it all, survival is our most staggering trait. We would survive in hell or worse, not everyone, never, but enough to bring about a renewal. We survive, even if that is all we can do. Without hope, without reason, without logic, we survive, because we can. Little can slow us down, and even few can halt us, if only temporary, nothing can truly stop us, for we survive.
Yeah, about that in the DLC the final transmission Jacob is dead and used to transfer the final transmission to the other character because he has a connection with her
This video deserves W A Y more likes, the transitioning and cuts between each different scene are so clean and satisfying. Only wish Kratos and Atreus’ hug was featured at the very very end
Amicia is definetly a character i could completely relate to, all that she lost and just how much sorrow and suffering that has brought her is something i can relate to the most especially in the end of the edit where she said "I wont let you down, you know it" and then she is all alone by herself in the next scene.. thats veryy sad
I loved this game, for me it's the best game of the year, they should make a sequel bringing Jacob back, they could clone him and implant the memories of the original in him
