Hi. Is there anyway you can get just the booklet? I just bought the cartridge off ebay and it was supposed to come with it but it didn’t and now the seller says he doesn’t have it. Ugh! I have the old expression machine and I don’t do anything digital. I hope you don’t mind me asking. Thank you
I just got a Lamy Safari. I'm kind of disappointed. For me, it's too light, the grip is too thin (I had a similar problems with my Kaweco sport), when I post with it the ridge is right on my hand. I find it very uncomfortable to hold. I'm hoping to find a fountain pen for a similar price that writes as nicely but that I actually enjoy holding.
I would try the TWSBI Eco then. Lamy was my first love. You are correct that it feels quite light in the hand. I don’t mind the ridge. The TWSBI is heavier and I love the ink capacity. After using it since this video, I tend to reach for it first more often.
@@DJsSundries I saw a review for the Faber Castell Hexo. I really like the styling of the Safari and All Star, and the Hexo reminds me of that. I'm not a bog fan of how demonstrators look, which is the only reason I didn't get the Eco. I do love that it doesn't require a converter. We'll see how HEXO works for me. I'll eventually find something I like. :D
@@IdFightMyDad Best wishes. I have definitely found my happy place as I now have 3 TWSBIs. I actually like the demonstrator look but it’s not for everyone.
All those tags is why I didn’t get mine done and last year I was getting ready to move so im really wanting them. Ext year but don’t want to stress about them.
@@DJsSundries I wonder if it makes a difference, it could cut your time down. I haven’t used textured paste in a while either, but you have inspired me to pull it out! I hope it’s not dried up, I noticed some of my stickles are all liquid now, supplies are getting old 😂 love your tag!
@@doubleclickconnect I can’t remember where I learned it originally but I’m pretty sure that the Tim Holtz video from a month or so ago also mentioned it. I know about those dried out supplies. I’m trying to be better about using my things.
Cute tag! If you want to keep the ribbon from fraying, you can add a little clear nail polish to the edge. If people want the thickness of the wood tree, they can cut several trees & glue them together. Thanks for sharing! 😊❤️
Hi Cheri, I need to try this! I have done napkins on cards, but not tags...and I have enough napkins and tags for sure. These would be so nice to add to gift packages.

Beautiful card! I laminated a piece of graph paper that I keep inside my TH stamping platform. It helps me line things up & helps keep it clean. 😊 If you love butterflies, have you seen the GKD butterfly sets? There’s one set of dies that works with 3 (I think) different sets of beautiful butterfly stamps. I don’t have them, but they’re on my wishlist! 😊❤️
The TWSBI looks stunning and holds more ink, but i've found the nibs are hit and miss. Often, you get a duff one. Ink flow is hit and miss. It also has a sharp ridge near the nib which I find cuts into my finger after prolonged use. Originally I didnt like the look of the Lamy Safari, but after using them, I've found them a far superior writing experience. The nibs a super smooth and glide across the paper. It's reliable and has consistent ink flow. The design fits comfortably in the hand. For me it's my go to pen for every day use. It's a real workhorse
I have that same wood tool chest😊! I’m using mine for my fountain pens and inks. Also other special gift pens from my Mom-in-Law’s cruises 🚢! She doesn’t go on those anymore ☺️! Thanks for sharing your new craft room, take care 🤗💕!
I am a 7th grade student and wanted a second fountain pen ,I like to write with japanese medium nibs and want one these which would you recommend ? Ps. I write fast and big
Have you ever tried the Pilot Kakuno? They make a clear demonstrator model that can hold a Con-70 converter (large ink capacity). Not only is the nib a fine, smooth Japanese nib, but the pen itself feels comfortable in my hand. The grip has a very slight, subtle triangular-ish erconomic grip vs. the very sharp-edged trianglular grip of the Lamy. If you must get either a Lamy or Eco, I'd go with the Twsbi Eco and go with a Fine (like a Japanese Medium, although wetter). The ink capacity is larger, and the cap seals better than on the Lamy (thus the ink evaporates faster). If you must get a Lamy, consider the Lamy Al-Star (aluminum body). The Safari feels really very light and a little cheapy (plasticy). But it all depends on your weight preference. BTW, filling the TWSBI is NOT a challenge. I would disagree with this reviewer. Both pens reviewed (Lamy and the TWSBI) are NOT difficult to fill. The nice thing about a TWSBI, (for a student) is the large ink capacity. If aesthetics is not an issue, then TWBI also makes the "GO" (instead of the ECO), which holds a lot of ink (though not as much as the ECO), has the same nib, is fast to refill while on-the-go and costs $20 USD, which makes it appealing to students. The Pilot Kakuno is around $10, writes so smoothly and fits like a glove (at least in my hand). The Pilot Con-70 converter is about $10 on Amazon, making the pen total $20 - $21 USD. Still more economical than the Safari or the Eco. The Pilot Con-50 or Con-40 (or even the squeeze one that comes with the Pilot Metropolitan, would also fit the Kakuno. [I hate the Con-40s!] I tried the Pilot Kakuno after watching this video. And I'm glad I did. BTW,, the clear (demonstrator) Pilot Kakuno is readily available on Amazon. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zyNnkt8seg4.html
Letter (card) writing is a dying art. I love writing letters to my grandkids. Some write back, some don’t. At least they’ll know it’s a thing! 😂 Great gift idea!
Hello dear, I like your job. Is so beautiful and nice. I believe everyone enjoys it.just like I do wow. Please dear if you don't mind can we be friends?
My medium nib twsbi eco writes like a $400 pen. I only have two pens a ECO and a Safari the two pens in this video lol and I only plan on getting probably 3 more tops
