This woman’s voice is the WORST!! They could have literally chosen anyone else for this! I had to turn it off and figure it out myself. She is TERRIBLE!
This video was wonderful! I am not mechanically inclined and struggle with this kind of stuff, but was able to take the links out easily to make the band fit perfectly, on the first try and without frustration or a struggle. I measured my wrist and added a little leeway, and it worked on my first try. Thank you!
My watch and fell off because the pin came out of the connection link to the watch. Are the extra pins long enough to replace that pin? How do I do it since it doesn’t fit in the mechanism to replace the normal pins?
Wish I would have know not to remove the last link until the middle of the tutorial

Hours of my life I want back. What you fail to cover is what to do when you push the pin out the wrong direction. I've lot parts everywhere and I want to gas the whole thing. So frustrated.
This was not easy for me and after an hour of trying to remove a link I got one pin out but can’t get any more. I tried to return this watch band but once you remove one link, they will not accept returns. I do not recommend anyone buys this if you do not want to deal with this issue. First and last time buying anything from Machete.
Great tutorial! My band is a different brand from amazon but works the same. Thanks for keeping it short and sweet but still enough info to include necessary tips!
Doing this is actually the most intuitive and easiest thing in the world, but I came here with a question: is it true that this kind of pins (mostly used in metal watch bands) have a tendency to rapidly get loose and fall off with obvious consequences?
I’m not sure about how quickly these pins get loose & fall off, but I’ve had this band for about 2yrs and the pins never got loose. I broke my band by getting my hand stuck between some plastic bins and pulled it apart. I love this band so much, I purchased another one. I’m pretty active and have taken this watch in the ocean multiple times & never experienced this band breaking. I actually want to get a bunch of them in different style/colors for back up. They’re pretty durable. Hope this helps
I couldn’t remove the pin -after it was almost out. Both times it got stuck. As such the pin going back in was a little crooked and now half is in, half is out. Any suggestions for how to remove the crooked pin and reattach two two parts properly?
If this woman’s voice wasn’t so calming I would have given up. Pin wouldn’t line up correctly to screw back in - lots of finagling to get it to work. Super frustrating.
I bought a universal Apple Watch kit. The band comes with the smaller 38/40/41 mm latch and I need to change it to the larger 42/44/45 mm latch. How do I do that?
I almost let these comments stop me from buying this watch band, but it honestly was the easiest thing to do and I even had to add back one link because I made it too tight. Don’t let this deter you if you want this band! Just follow the arrows on the band so that the pin comes out that way, and you’ll be golden!
The tool that came with my metal band from Amazon broke well it’s plastic and bent thank god I was able to use it still somehow by hand to remove the pins but stabbed my finger in the process
