If Nickelodeon changed the HD screen bug on April 27, 2015 so it only reads ‘Nick,’ then having the original standard-definition simulcast would be pointless by then because the SD screen bug also reads ‘Nick,’ and if they change the HD screen bug to just have the channel name and not have the HD part of it, then there would only be one simulcast to use across both feeds. This would mean the high-definition simulcast would be downscaled and letterboxed for the standard-definition feed. Would I be right about this, or is it better to still keep the original standard-definition simulcast around, even after changing the HD screen bug to read ‘Nick?’
