Always love your videos & look forward to them! Your commentary cracks me up. Congrats on your FFOs ... fantastic frame selection especially the Christmas Rules! The Plum Street piece looks perfect hanging by your door. I think your grandmother's table would be a good place for a dough bowl or tiered tray for a bunch of littles! 😊 Hope you have a great summer .. may it be full of lots of fun stitches! Love the Summer Quaker ... everytime I see someone working on it makes me want to get it. Seriously thinking I need to add it to stash & start stitching ASAP! 😂
OMG. I laughed so hard with your coffin comment. What a way to decorate!! LOL. What is the name of your magnifier and where did you purchase them? Thanks again for the good😂
Right?! They are called Mag Eyes on Amazon. Lori Holt is the one I saw using them on her Flosstube. a.co/d/0avU3zAb. There are different magnifying levels. This link is 2/4
Thank you for watching and showing my name. I really enjoy your videos. I would love to be a fly on the wall in your 2nd grade classroom. I am sure those littles have fun learning!!
I really look forward to your videos. I live in North Dakota and have just taken up counted cross stitch again after I retired just about 2 years ago. I like Fanny.
@@mudcreekstitcher Yes, I love the 4 seasons that we have here. Maybe sometimes not winter so much when we are buried in lots of snow and cold! I have lived in North Dakota for all of my 67 years.
So many awesome finishes! I too stitched StarBarks to celebrate my love of dogs and coffee as well as C is for Coffee by I think Heartstrings Samplery. I’d love to send you the chart if you’re interested in it
New subscriber here! How come I have not seen you before?!?!?! But you are in my subscriptions now and I'm so glad! Enjoyed your video!! I got my eyes from my mom, yay : ) I use the magnifier light daily and am not sad about it. Great projects! Thank you for sharing!!! And I'd LOVE to study John with you in July! I'll be in Matthew for our school year, so John would be a great July study. Then I could do an OT book in August. Need to go back and listen to you last videos and find you on IG to hear about your studies.
Oh Tara I could listen to you all day. Love your humor. Love your Christian heart! Such pretty stitches. I don’t know if I could stitch Fanny but I’m up for the challenge! BTW teachers are my favorites!
So happy to spend time stitching with you! I wish we had a Hobby Lobby close by, it would be nice. My mom turned 98 this week, she has loved the Lord all her life and still posts on Facebook everyday! Hope you and I can too. Would LOVE to stitch Fanny. Blessings to you.
Just found your Flosstube and really enjoyed it. I grew up in Grand Island, NE, so know central Nebraska pretty well. My kids live in Lincoln, so I go there often for a visit - I now live in SW Missouri. Your stitching and finishes are beautiful. Thanks for sharing your time and talent with us. ❤
Hi Tara, great to see you. Your finishes are excellent! I didn’t realize the one by your door was so big! You said your sister lives in Sioux City. That’s where my aunt, uncle and cousins lived. My Dad’s sister (our family from Newfoundland) met my uncle in Nfld when he was stationed there with the US Air Force. I never made it to Iowa, but have cousins there. Love seeing your stitching. Colours are perfect and stitching perfect. I just started Lori Holt Tea House from FQS with the Jane Austin quote. I really like the goose from Liz Matthew’s too. Also I like Heaven and Nature Sing too❤. Great finishing pieces you found!
You have been busy! Love your framed projects. The BIG Plum Street is gorgeous! I am working on Feast of Friendship and cannot wait to have it completed. I, like you, love BIG projects. I don’t know when I think I am going to get them stitched! Fanny was my maternal grandmother’s name. She was a sweet, precious, little lady.
Hi! First time I've seen your channel and I very much enjoyed "meeting" you! So nice of you to work with VBS . . . especially bc I know you need a teaching break. Love your work and hope your summer is fantastic! fanny 😘
Oh my goodness-“they better nail it up in my coffin” 😂. I almost spit my coffee everywhere when you said that. I think I also better be wrapped up like a burrito with one of my handmade quilts, too, before they lower me in the ground-gotta keep my fanny and my toes warm 😂😅!! Thanks for your humor and your faithful service, Tara ❤.
Nice to see you again Tara. Congratulations on those beautiful FFOs. So lovely! And all those patterns to work on - anticipation and planning is definitely part of the fun. I was watching you instead of writing my weekly staff update but I think it was good self care! Looking forward to the John study. (not using the word fanny in a sentence as I can't bring myself to - in Australia it doesn't meant the same as in the US and instead refers to a different part of the anatomy that is at the front - also not a sampler stitcher but enjoy looking at others)
16:21 someone else was working on this one. She has a mistake on the lower right and can’t figure it out. So she is going into a time out from stitching it. Fanny
@@mudcreekstitcher If I’d stitch this, wondering what you think of this… If I’d count down to the inside edge/end of the border and stitched that first? I don’t have a chart to look at. What are your thoughts? It is just an amazing design. Thanks
I don't know, but I bet you can find out and call HL in Kearney. Each time I've gone it's been during the week and in the morning around 10ish. Good Luck! She makes it so fun, but it does get spendy like everything anymore!
Thank you for another video. I always enjoy your stitching and Bible studies. I’m a retired teacher and remember so well starting back each year. Second grade was my favorite. I’m now retired but tutor little ones🤗🤗 Blessings to you and your family🙏🏻🎶💕
Thanks for another great video. Love your framed finishes - awesome! You have a lot of good stitching to look forward to. That's why we need a stash of patterns. Love the fanny comment!! Looking forward to the next bible study too. Enjoy your summer!!!!
Hi Tara I am so happy I found your channel. Your Feast of Friendship is very nice. I finished that piece last fall. That was my one of my first finished pieces since I returned to cross stitching after 25+ years. Fanny is very pretty.
Hi Tara! I really love your Feast of Friendship finish! This Happy Morning looks beautiful on your wall! If you start Yuletide Delivery by Plum Street let me know. I have it kitted! I am looking forward to studying the book of John.
I am so glad I found your channel, I stitch on everything but find Aida to be my comfort stitching. I am not gonna lie, I’m feeling I touch of jealousy over your son in laws bear quilt😁 can’t wait to see it finished.
You got caught in an awful storm. Glad that you got home safely. I also own And Heaven And Nature Sing. I don't have any of the supplies to start it, but might be willing to purchase them, if you want to start with me. I'm starting 24 in 24 and that would be a good start for it. Cindy
Oh my, I would have to think long and hard to try and do 24 in 24, that's a lot! I know I am leaning in the direction of at least kitting it up, it's been one of my favorites for years. Thanks for watching!!!
I just found you and subscribed as I like the Aida also. Will not watch higher count stitchers. The minute I hear 28 count abs higher-I’m gone. I usually only do 14ct. Have done one on 18ct and it just about did me in!! It was Tiny Town Christmas. Was a gift. Hope she puts
Yay for Aida Stitchers! I enjoy all flosstubers but I especially love the Aida peeps. They have wonderful tips when it comes to changing patterns that call for one over one. It’s also amazing to see the difference in fabrics for Aida as well. So glad you subscribed!
I just found you and I am so happy that I did. I love 16 and 18 count fabric and on occasion, I will do 20 count, so was happy to see that you do too. I have a retired teacher friend who lives in Fort Collins, she used to live here in CT, and I would love to fly out there to visit her and see Sherry at her store. Thank you for sharing all of your goodies, what a joy that was!
I just ran into your channel and saw all the great things you got while on vacation in Colorado and I stopped because I saw the chart by Reflets de Soie and I would like to start along with you.
Loved watching your haul. Would love to start along with you…bible study sounds interesting too. I am a middle school teacher and I am loving the vacation time…it passes very quickly.
Glad you were safe in the storm and didn't have too much water damage to your house! I had someone from my locla needlework shop tell me that she likened buying patterns to buying books, she liked to look through them and imagine as she would reading a regular book!
My husband asked me if I would like to go to Estes Park this fall. I told him I would as long as we could go to Loveland. 😂 You snapped up some amazing haul! Several people have good Mill Hill videos. Helen D has one. They aren’t hard and are so cute on the tree.
Sorry that you got caught in the storm. You do beautiful work and you can never have too many patterns.may God pour out blessings on you and your family
