45 minutes lovin on my truck in any way is time well spent. I have a female friend in Texas that would tell me to cry a river of tears and build a bridge of sorrows over it if I made a video like this.
@@andrinpoopfong2214 Thank you for the wisdom you have bestowed upon us all. The mark of an educated man is calling a stranger names on the internet. I can only hope to become as wise and manly as you some day.
It's called the silver bullet strategy it's well known in family court, you beat that by getting on the offensive and save your children if you don't your doomed and to get your evidence in you ask for a evidentiary hearing you have to know the law
Watching this video an hour after the Supreme Court imposed Presidential immunity really drives your point home. We fight amongst ourselves while the politicians play us all. I’m pulling for you brother.
I agree with your logic if you're only looking to save money. But, if you want to squeeze as much efficiency out of your mods, Banks is a great starting point, and you've already got it. Though most mods to any engine have to be "unlocked" by tuning it through the car's ECU either through a piggyback or stand alone.
I’m going through the same thing. I’m a former combat Marine, Firefighter, Trooper, and, now, manager in the railroad, and my wife decided she wanted to live her best life in Seattle without me. The family court has given her my kids and transferred my wealth to her. I’ve done nothing to deserve this. I am not a criminal and have never hurt anyone. It doesn’t matter. It’s heartbreaking and I am hurting so much. I want to start an advocacy group for father’s going through this. It is so unfair. I want to be a father to my children and they have taken that from me for their liberal ideologies. It is so sad. I feel for you, brother.
I’m sorry you are dealing having your kids stolen. The states with 50/50 laws see a drop in conflict and violence. Children need fathers. There’s too much money involved. I put a link in the description. Keep fighting.
I have a huge ranch hand on my f250 7.3 and a mini cooper decided to come flying through my intersection while I had a green light, well his car got knocked 20 feet across the intersection and was totaled and I finished my drive to work 30 minutes later
I am by no means an overtly religious person; but I do believe in God and the power of Prayer. And it doesn't cost anything. So sorry you're going through this. Stay safe.
Here in Az we can't delete much due to emissions. I don't see much advantage of deleting EGR or Cat or CCV my 2018 runs just fine towing my boat and trailer with all intact and mileage is more than acceptable. Only thing I would delete is grid heater that has that bolt that may come loose and and damage engine.
I used to get the 3m vet bond since it's a medical glue off Amazon. Used to get 3 for $30 but last time I checked they raised it to $80. I haven't got it since.
Weird question but, can you use paper cone filters with a cold air intake? And then it's easy as tossing the only one and replacing it with a new paper cone filter?
Filter being far too dirty sooner than expected is not the fault of the filter. It's the driving conditions. You must drive in very dusty and dirty conditions. With how it looked, the filter replacement job doesn't look that bad. You bought the filter with the intent to improve performance. Sometimes, buying something to perform the best means a bit more work to service it. I saw a comment by you replying to someone else about how manufacturers are making these things worse. For the money spent on a new truck, you could get one with far less emissions restrictions than yours for less money, including the future repairs. I maintain a 2005 GMC 2500, and i will continue to drive and repair it. It's far cheaper and more reliable than a brand new one. Less emissions related parts, that is for sure. Im currently rebuilding the engine. I'll take the time and spend the money because even after buying 3K worth of new stock and performance parts with a tune, it's still cheaper than a new one and still cheaper to insure.
You know you'd have even MORE time if were didn't spend it modifying your truck. I feel like this video is presented as if someone made you put this intake on. Or take all that money you're talking about and pay someone else to spend their time to do the job. It's about choices. These intakes serve a pretty exclusive purpose to a pretty exclusive crowd. Maybe that's not you? Modified vehicles require modified time. Idk. That's just my opinion. I definitely can understand your frustration. But the stock panel filter is much easier to change if you're that worried about time.
Stock vehicles are built to GOVERNMENT regulations. The government regulations harm the engine, restrict performance and make the vehicle more expensive and less reliable. Do you know the main cause of trucks being down for months at a time while dealers wait for parts? You obviously don't. Its the EGR parts that the EPA forces on us all. The EGR is the first cause for failure and costs thousands to fix. So I looked for a product that suited my needs and was made by a company that is known for their expertise. You sure made alot of assumptions. I do things myself because I don't have money to waste or pay someone to do when I can do it myself. Which is why I make content. Air Intakes are meant to improve fuel mileage and power. Both good things. So the products we buy, are meant to do that without extra headache. More modifications do not mean more time. Governments track record is ALWAYS making things worse. But comply or go to jail.
@@tacticaldieseldad5695 egr only gets bad if you buy a diesel to get grocery's when you need a load on it going down the highway so the egr system can clean itself as thats a diesels intended use
Thank you for the honest review. When designing intake systems, our engineers often focus too strongly on beating the performance of the competition and not ease-of-use for the end user. Your video highlights this. We've shared your video with our engineering team.
I gotta agree, I am looking to switch over to BANKS air; so let's upgrade a fix asap and maybe help retro fit some of those who have purchased them prior. Let's BLOW the comp out of the water, since no one is fixing this issue except the stock filter being having easier access but having low flow.
Amen brother! I have been using Banks products for years. This is a pain in the but. To clean an air filter. In my case i bought an additional dry filter and per-filter. Your first video was spot on. Many years back I used a oiled filter. I never again used one. I would have to sit there with a toothbrush and clean the turbo impeller every oil change. Now i do it for the the breather vent. I'm looking for a oil catch can now. So i don't have to do anymore. How are you enjoying your Allison? I have a stage 1 myself, with a Aurora 4000.
Absolutely amazing review. Best review I have come across on RU-vid. What is the type of Helly Hansen toilet bag did you have on the review? Great video please do more my friend.
For the price and what it does, yes. Zoom just makes the picture bigger, not really a zoom. But it’s a good thermal. My buddies with night vision can’t see what I can see. And they have to get super close for a shot at night
I have the Sinister Diesel one in my truck. It’s a wide-open filter with an aluminum intake pipe so the turbo noise is nothing short of insane. I also have a Fleece Cheetah turbo to add to the bliss
@@JimmieABES okay I’m gonna try that it also says the MAP sensor was thrown too so I’m gonna clean that one as well. My truck only has 47k miles so it’s weird to me for the engine light to come on
@@ReggieRhoades I have thrown the mass airflow sensor code. From my understanding any oiled filter will produce vapor on hot days and that vapor coats the sensor with oil and eventually needs cleaned. I haven’t thrown that code in a while. I’ve cleaned the MAS with a Q tip and MAS cleaner.
Having issue with upper control bar linkage seems loose gotta hold back on bar to keep wheel spinning . Like linkage don't hold enough pressure to keep engaged bc600 2005
I had the same issue, had the pump re built and that helped. Adjusting linkage is a huge pain. Dont forget to adjust the linkage on the outside of each side as well. I sold mine and no longer do tree work.
Hauls my washing skid well which is several thousand pounds. You dont have the manual shift option but Allison stays in a lower gear pretty well on its own. I've only towed landscape trailer with it so nothing heavy so far.
I've got a 2018 6.7 and the top hose above the one you replaced blew just like yours and I noticed a lot of build up at the outside of the fittings prior to removing anything and while I had that hose off I flushed out the heater core and got a lot of gunk out of it but I'm still trying to figure out what caused that hose to blow whether it was too much pressure or something else.
