Hagan las cagadas de videos para publico en español también, no entiendo cómo empresas tan grandes no invierten en qué sea de fácil comprensión para todos.
Hello, We recently held a similar webinar in English and will be uploading the recording in the coming days. Please make sure to subscribe to our channel to be the first to know when the video is available.
Hello! The power usage depends on the tracking scenario and the frequency of data transmission. To reduce power consumption, you can select one of our unique sleep modes. Learn more about sleep modes here: wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMT100_Sleep_modes
Hi Teltonika - Does this work for heavy machinery like John Deere, Cat, Komatsus, etc? I have a mixed bag of fleet assets I would like to track for location and Can Bus data.
Hello! For location, battery voltage, crash detection, overspeeding, and other basic features, any model, including the ones mentioned, is compatible with the TFT100. However, to read CAN data from vehicles, the specific vehicle's CAN communication protocol is needed, which is typically available from the vehicle's manufacturer. Unfortunately, for the vehicles mentioned, the necessary protocols are not available on our end.
Is it nessesery to add APN values or does it work without them ? Without APN can I see the values through the application or the web, without having to take out the device and plug it to my PC usb ?
Hello, the Auto APN functionality is supported. Generally, when installed in a car and connected to a PC, CAN and OBD parameters can be viewed live in the configurator. However, this is not recommended because of the inconvenience of physically accessing the device in the car. It is better to monitor values via a fleet management platform. Hello! Please follow this link:wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMC130_Negative_Input_Usage_Scenario Connect accordingly to the diagram provided and configure the IO parameter to receive information on the server. For more information, please contact sales or support.
Hello, FMx880 GPS trackers are 4G devices with fallback support to 2G. However, if you require a similar device with 2G connectivity, we strongly recommend the FMT100. Alternatively, if 4G connectivity is necessary, the FMx880 series can be used with sleep modes to help prevent battery drainage. For more information, please visit: wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMC880_System_settings#Sleep_Mode.
@@TeltonikaTelematics Could you please pass on a feature request to the devs to add a variable to allow preferential use of either the LTE or GPRS modem please.
Hello, Yes, it is possible to count containers if each is equipped with an EYE Beacon and within the range of a tracker or other gateway. This setup allows you to monitor the number of active beacons, which corresponds to the number of containers. For a more detailed answer, we would appreciate additional details about your specific requirements. Please feel free to reach out to your sales manager or, or fill out our contact form so we can assist you further: teltonika-gps.com/about-us/contacts
Hello, EYE Beacon is designed for more industrial applications. However, from a technical standpoint, it is possible to use it at home if you have Bluetooth gateway(s) and attach an EYE Beacon to the cat. Please note that it would only provide the cat's presence within the gateway's working range. This means that if you have one gateway and three rooms, it would be difficult to determine exactly which room the cat is in. A third-party platform would also be needed.
Hello! Possible Ignition Sources: Power Voltage: Ignition is ON if the voltage is between the High Voltage Level and the Low Voltage Level (as specified under Ignition Settings options). Ignition is OFF if the voltage is higher than the High Voltage Level or lower than the Low Voltage Level. Engine RPM: Ignition is ON if the RPM from the OBDII dongle is higher than 0. Ignition is OFF if the RPM from OBD II or CAN is equal to 0. Accelerometer: Ignition is ON if the movement sensor detects movement. Ignition is OFF if no movement is detected. For more information, please visit: wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMC880_System_settings#Ignition_Source
Based in the vin no, can we the vehicle basic info like make, model ... etc as qurable data from the obd device, or from teltonika platform if that applicable ! Thanks
Hello! The new white EYE Sensor EN12830 has several additional benefits compared to the previous black EYE Sensor: It comes with an EN12830 certificate, ensuring it meets specific standards for temperature monitoring. It offers improved accuracy with a certified 0.5°C across all working temperatures (-20 to +60°C). The temperature sensor is calibrated in an ISO 17025-certified laboratory for reliable measurements. It has an internal memory that can store temperature data for up to 345 days. The sensor uses food-grade materials that comply with EU and FDA regulations, making it safe for food contact applications. Hello! Thank you for your question! This is highly dependent on the frequency of use and can vary considerably from case to case. However, you can find the sizes of the pictures sent by DualCam and a rough estimate at this link: wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/Camera_Manual#DualCam_data_transfer_timing
hello, if those 2 LEDs don't flash at the same time, does that mean it's not working? the led flash state all the time but the non-navigation one just stays on!!!
Hello! Thank you for your comment. For detailed information on what each LED status indicates, please visit the following page: wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMT100_LED_status
Hi Teltonika team, one question on the FMx150 Tracker. When installing an FMx150 device, do we always have to combine it with ECAN02 ? Are there cases where instead of ECAN02 maybe we need some other external device? Or even no additional external device just the FMx150? Thank you!
Hello, Thank you for your comment. We would like to clarify that it's possible to install the FMx150 tracker without ECAN02. However, it's important to note that in such cases, a direct physical connection to CAN lines would be needed.
If you're considering backup tracking via Bluetooth® with the TAT100 feature, then FMC003 and FMM003 support it, starting with firmware version 03.29.00 Rev. 357.

This is so great!!! Apart from the Eye App what is the name of the web platform in the case of big fleet management
How can this eye beacon assist in inventory control? Is this a use case? Also, if the gateway is not within reach, how will these be tracked when off site?
Hello, The ability of a platform to assist in inventory control fully depends on its features. It could automate the process if the items are assigned beacons, making it possible to precisely determine their location and quantity. Here are some related use cases: Construction tool tracking: teltonika-gps.com/use-cases/agriculture/construction-tools-tracking-with-ble-beacons Indoor tracking: teltonika-gps.com/use-cases/assets-and-workforce/indoor-tracking-solutions Goods tracking: teltonika-gps.com/use-cases/assets-and-workforce/goods-tracking-with-ble-beacons-and-sensors Medical equipment tracking: teltonika-gps.com/use-cases/assets-and-workforce/medical-equipment-tracking-with-eye-beacons If there is no gateway within reach, as you mentioned, the solution will not function because the EYE Beacons will not be scanned. However, in the context of construction, it is advisable to install gateways at storage facilities and construction sites of interest and to equip transport with Fleet Management trackers. This setup should ensure coverage in all locations where the items might be found. For a solution that is autonomous and does not require a gateway, we recommend exploring the TAT battery-powered GPS tracker family, such as the tamper-proof TAT240: teltonika-gps.com/products/trackers/assets-workforce/tat240
Hello, yes, it can be used on motorcycles, but you will need a gateway to scan the EYE Beacon. For an example of its application with motorcycle, you can read this use case: teltonika-gps.com/use-cases/telematics/motorcycle-tracking-protection-and-safety
Hello! It depends on the device. FMx920 series devices do not have an integrated button that can be used for SOS. However, it is possible to connect external accessories, such as the SOS button, for such purposes. In addition, it is worth mentioning, that we have a unique FMP100 vehicle GPS tracker with an integrated button, which can be used in emergency situations.
