I heard all you say and for the most part you are correct. Multiple attackers, need to keep distance and six months of boxing makes most peeps pretty tough if they are committed and in a great gym. We are talking about martial science. Commercial boxing gyms and commercial BJJ academies … 6 months to a year of either makes you better than most … most serious peeps who are learning martial arts should learn both as both covers most that ya need…. Add yoga to it and ya got a great Combatives program. Boxing if trained correctly is a martial science… if trained as a life style becomes a way of life… and an art!!! Check out my RU-vid channel…. That’s how we teach it in our academy…. I’m a USA Association Coach/Trainer and a BJJ Professor ….
bro this is already a good coach to check on his fighter if he's okay, for me I cross train and my home gym its always one guy wanting to take heads off.
Just to throw a curved Ball the British forces Unarmed combat system has no punches. Open hand strikes take downs ect. A broken finger or fingers knuckle Can't pull & fire a gun As a boxer would you be as confident as you sound And have a 1 to 1 With A British Paratrooper Or SAS soldier. Or would you think no I need some other skills. ?
Ive trained everything boxing wrestling judo muay thai tae kwon do brazilian jiu jitsu krav maga, boxing is superior it all starts wit the hands then a fight flows to the rest but thats IF they even get past the paws 🐾
I train like I was competing in boxing but have no intentions on getting in the ring and putting my health on the line. I just love the sport and the perks of it. I’ve never been in this type of shape since I’ve been training like a boxer. I’d say boxing is a lifestyle. You don’t have to be a fighter though. Only thing I don’t like and prevents me from competing is the consequences of brain damage. Boxing is no joke, it’s not a game.
0:19 that sleeper left hook/overhand punch was actually really risky for the dude to throw. He had ZERO defense going on at the time, but neither did the guy he hit, so he didn't have to pay for it, but lots of fighters could/would have punished that 😮
Good info here. I'm new to boxing, want to get into muay thai. I'm going to buy some leather gloves. What are your thoughts on the Leather Hyabusa and Title gloves? thanks-
Bruce Lee lifted weights. But, he lifted different. He trained for density and his fast twitch muscles. Not for body building or powerlifting. He also used weights to train tendon strength.
At the end he was slipping Canelo punches and countering him before he could roll with the punches . And the best thing he didn't get knocked out like the rest. This is gonna boost he confidence and will to be better
My dude nobody thought he was going to win that fight. The point is he stuck it out and he learned a lot. Same thing happened to canelo when he fought Mayweather
@@AlexSantiago-v9p lmfaooo if you actually watched Canelo live vs mayweather he had a way better shot of winning then berlanga did vs Canelo come on bruh and when Canelo fought Floyd he wasn’t sitting there talking all that crazy shit yk why because those 2 men can sell the fight with their skills berlanga only used his mouth to sell the fight
You're stating the obvious bro. You're telling me that you wouldn't try to get more money out of the fight by selling it. You know that the promoters tell them to do that s***, right? He wasn't just being an a****** because he felt like it, he actually respects Canelo and appreciates the opportunity. I don't think you understand how this game _ood_ works.@markhall6407
