I was stationed there right out of tech school. My first 4.5 years in the Air Force was rigging chutes there in that very hanger. 2000 to 2005. Then moved to the aerial port for a few years. I think I know one or two people in this video !
This will sound crazy, but true. I retired from the USAF after 20 years on Active Duty (1982 - 2002). In all that time, I never once stepped foot in a base gym. My weight at my pre-retirement physical? 137 pounds, 5 foot 7 inches tall.
I was on the civil construction crew that built that facility. The running track up top had to have the concrete brought in by the wheel barrel because the concrete booms couldn't reach that far. Then the wheel barrels had to be lifted up by forklift and shoveled out.
Doesn't matter where your head is. You should measure depth with your chest (or belly if you have a powerbelly like mine) and not think about your head.

I am a former Air Force brat. I was pretty much born on this base (November 8th. 30 years ago 🤣) My Dad served in the Air Force for 21 years until retiring in 2004 and this was the last base we lived on before his retirement.
A great message. There are so many outdoor activities to do in Arkansas. The only factor (during the Summer), if not floating on the river, would be the oppressive heat. Put down the cell phone and see the beauty of the Ozarks.
According to AFI36-2905 21 OCTOBER 2013, the only thing that is required is that the elbow touches the thigh or knee and that the shoulder blade touches the mat. They don't specify that the shoulder blade is flat against the mat. So, touching the bottom of your shoulder blade to the mat and your elbow to the bottom of your thigh and back down is one rep.
Unless you're wanting to get in to the full instruction, heels of your feet cannot come off of the ground and your fingers must remain in contact with your shoulders. Otherwise, the instruction is exactly as written in the document I mentioned.
