I have a models s that too, the deck is special wood, is is Brand Marked as real Thonet or Thonet Mundus? The seat has a wooden ring, not as the original models, this deck ls not the same.

židle moc hezká, výrobní štítek na ni asi nebyl, co? Ale pár výhrad dřevo by chtělo základní ošetření před montáží a kovové části by bylo třeba lépe ošetřit jinak dobrý
Hej, sjajan video Aleksandre (Pretpostavljam da ti je to ime :) ) . Hoce biti jos neki komad obnovljen uskoro? Ja imam dve stare Tonet stolice, malo drugačije, ali su savijeni delovi u naslonu slomljeni. Pretpostavljam da to ne može da se popravi. Jedino da se zameni novim delovima. A to onda više nije to, tako? Nadam se da ce uskoro biti jos videa o restauraciji namestaja. Pozdrav!
For the split wood - better not use white glue alone to force the pieces to stick to each other as there still be remaining energy in the material pulling bits apart - wet the parts then apply heat with a steam iron or such first to remove any tension first. I liked your work, I can add to unscrew the old rusted screws they can be heated with a soldering iron, I have a soldering station, I set it to 450 degrees and heat for about 20 seconds, after that the screws are easily unscrewed, some are slightly crooked and wedge after half a turn, I again I warm them and go on easily. I want to ask you, what is the best way to cover a repaired chair ?, I choose between carnauba wax and acrylic varnish.
