Sorry I only came across this upload a year later, and your question, which remains unanswered. The answer is that if you go to 0:50 seconds, above the letter for the logo "K", just to the left of that "K" is a projected casting line. At that point it is VIRTICLE 90deg. That is your float line - which is measured from the bottom of the float to the mating surface of the carb body. I don't know if it helps you at all now but others may read this. Hope it helps them.
Nice one, about to maiden mine tomorrow on 3.0, quick question for you, are you on 4S, what's the biggest battery you put in it. About to put a 4S 10000mah li-ion in it. seems awfully heavy though.
I'm doing something similar but using a 6000mah Lipo. Gonna maiden tomorrow... You say CG needs to be further back? I haven't tossed it at all yet... Nervous as always about a maiden flight 🤣
@@jawa6988For me it flies most efficiently with cg bit(2-3mm) on the tail side, but it will fly whenever you balance it. For maiden make sure to balance it right on the marks, so you can decide how to adjust and trim accordingly. DONT FORGET THE FLAPS on takeoff and landing! I often do, and on takeoffs it dips hard or overshoots on landing without flaps. Good luck!
@@sakarrc5001 maybe that was my problem! 🤣 I thought I'd just add the flaps later... It flew like a rock. I guess with the extra weight I'm gonna have to go ahead and connect them up. I broke a wing clip so I'm printing a new one now before I can try again
