2 years ago I saw a video from Ida about the car. There was supposed to be another video released within a day or two of that one that never happened. When I saw the video 2 years ago I posted a comment asking whatever happened. Someone responded and told me that the project was canceled. Now I just found this video for the first time, and it's 6 years old. So apparently some progress was made. Is there any plan to finish this car?
Fiero's haven't seemed to hold much value but the batteries and electronics were probably costly. Sadly its hard to get the money invested out of a hobby project. Plus you made it sound like you got a deal so I'm guessing you paid less than 10K.
Well the whole Project's undervalued, it has an AC motor just like a tesla. Probably just needs upgraded batteries. This will be commonplace switching your classic car over to Electric drive. And the car was in really good shape. Also undervalued. Sometimes great cars are undervalued until people see the value later on in the market.
There is plenty of materials just the speed at which they are sourced. Once sourced most of materials are actually recyclable. Burnt oil/gasoline is not recyclable.
Just watched this whole thing again, and I am blown away by some of the legends that have been talked about, and who have joined in, excluding myself, of course, because I’m more of a groupie than a legend.
Been saying that about every tReSsPaSs that has come out. Model 3 looks like an ugly frog. Model X looks like a mini van. Model y looks like a tiny mini van. DeLoreans didn't sell. Cyber trucks are selling at the same rate as 2 of the big 3's trucks are selling.
