Hello there! I am ScribbleSpecters, a digital animator/illustrator who likes to draw silly stuff & put it on the Internet sometimes. I'm very passionate about cartoons & video games so you can expect videos about that sort of thing. In the future I'd like to upload more original content, so please stay tuned!
I'm currently quite busy taking a 3D animation course to improve my 2D/3D mixing skills, but for now I hope you enjoy what's already posted here. If you do then please consider supporting me on my Ko-fi page (linked below). It's like a tip jar & it really helps me out! Thank you for your time & for reading this description ^^
I play as my characters, so I'll switch between them! I like to make their outfits to screenshot for outfit ref :) I like playing as octoling the most, I love agent 8's hairstyle and that they have eye spikes that look like eyeliner haha
Absolutely loved this video. I was switching between inkling and octoling a lot early on but eventually I settled in with an Inkling. I think they look a little more gremlin mode than octolings and it just vibes with me more.
what about marina and agent 8s stories implied they were brainwashed, either in a literal sense or a "blinded by propaganda" sense? octarian society wasnt evil
The two kinds of dialogue "choices": 1. "Can you go kill the giant dragon with a branch for me?" > Yes > Sure 2. "Can you go kill the giant dragon with a branch for me?" > Yes > No (Choosing no leads to: ) "Don't be silly. Just do it" > Yes > Yes
I personally like the octoling more because of the lore and the fact that the dreadlocks and the afro are black hairstyles. Makes me feel good to have my hair in a game lol.
No amount of "shut up" can compare to the undeniable power of "OVER HERE" AS THE FUCKING TIDE IS RISING. STOP PAINTING THE LOW GROUND YOU"RE GOING TO DIE.
In Pokemon Moon, my Pokedex had registered a shiny Magnemite but I had no recollection of fighting one, nor have I caught a shiny Magnemite. I also do not recall actively shiny-hunting a Magnemite, so to this day, I have no idea how I registered one but it's very likely I accidentally KO'd one without realizing it was shiny. I played Platinum when I was in middle school, but haven't touched a Pokemon game until I was in college when Sun and Moon released. At the time, though I knew Shinies exist, it wasn't something I was used to, so the odds of me accidentally skipping over a shiny Magnemite is high. I could have also missed the sparkles because I was distracted by something else or something. My only encounter with a shiny in that game was within the first hour with a shiny Spinarak, and even then, it didn't click to me that it was shiny even though I immediately noticed that it was colored differently than I remembered. It was only until it sparkled that it became clear.
This video reminds me of fact that papyrus has *no* idle animation in his fight in undertale, he has them everywhere else like in dating start, but in his fight against him he’s stiff as a board.
I absolutely hate math and i think putting the spin of it being splatoon related rlly helped me focus so i learned more than one thing in this video lol
despite being completely underwealming my the Ultra games actually have my favorite bit of sudowoodo lore, since its the first and only time we see trees that actually look like the tree mimicing pokemon
I find it funny that this video got recommended to me because I caught a random shiny Sudowoodo 2 days ago! I ran into him so fast on Miraidon that he didn't get a chance to run away, but since he was in an fall-theme area, I don't know if I would've noticed him if it weren't for other Sudowoodo around. (Also, one of his attack animations has him do a little turn and jazz hands, or jazz branches I guess, and it's adorable, it looks like he's dancing!)
@@ScribbleSpecters Thank you! I love him a lot already, the animations show so much personality! It's only 2 so far including Sudowoodo, but I've also been getting shiniest faster in Violet than in any other Pokémon game I've played, and I'm pretty surprised, lol.
Me encantan los ojos de Octoling's pero las orejas puntiagudas de los Inklings también me gustan, si hubiera en un futuro juego o actualización una función para combinar características tipo híbridos sería genial
Most of the time dialogue branching in Pokemon like that is used to help with roleplaying, since Pokemon still kind of hinges on players doing some during the course of the game. But that case is definitely one of the worst, since it literally doesn't matter even for roleplaying, other than making you wanna punch Melli's face even more, which isn't needed at this point, especially after a tricky boss fight. The other kind of bad is those branches that are infinite "no" until you say yes, specifically bad for roleplay. But I mean, it's kind of funny imo so there's a reason to keep doing them
Even though the infinite "no" scenario can feel a bit clunky in older RPGs, it just makes it all the funnier when newer ones are able to put a spin on it! Like how Nemona devolves into cave man speak if you keep refusing her, or how Paper Mario games can give you a Game Over if you do it too much. Quite literally the "fool around & find out" of RPG dialogs lol
Just looked it up & I love how there's a bit of uneven-ness in the way Shedinja wobbles while in the air. Packs in a surprising amount of personality & really distinguishes him from other floating 'mons like Magnemite :]
As a new player I uh…. Saw a more androgynous look and picked it? And then learned the lore a bit later. My view of the character definitely changed after but I love them more because of it
It’s stated in the Pokedex that sudowoodo is so bad at pretending to be a tree even children aren’t fool by them. But since everyone is scared of Pokémon in legends arceus they just don’t care about if they are good or not
Ah yes I remember reading that! tbh the fact that Sudowoodo is obvious to humans but maybe not to other Pokemon species makes me wonder if there's a difference in their vision capabilities. A real life example would be tigers: our human eyes can see an orange tiger easily, but deer can't see the color orange so they have a harder time spotting them
This is an absolutely fascinating video !! Great work! I've been a veteran Splatoon player since 1 and ever since Hero Mode I have been SO swept up in Octarian lore and clamoring for playable Octolings. When the Expansion DLC was announced and then subsequently dropped on my birthday, it truly felt like it was for me- I haven't really gone back since. I'll occassionaly swap to an Inkling to play as an OC or just for something new but... I love Octoling's so much for so many reasons- lore included!!
