If I had to guess, Kieth WAS an actual person, who was with Ellis before meeting the others. Ellis witnessed Kieth die in a way that traumatized him, and the way his mind copes with that trauma leads to his confusing Keith for others and mis-remembering events.

Keith probably died from the burns in the hospital and it scared Ellis into believing he was actually still there

i have played this mode before and it was very fun

it looks like the Borealis is heavily inspired by the Philadelphia experiment, basically it is a "project" from world war 2 of making a ship invisible to enemies, and when it had the reactors on the ship started it had the same green glow in the video on the borealis, where it then dissappeared from the harbor it wa at and appeared at a completely different harbor *earlier* in the day, if yall want more details theres a really good video that goes on a deeper dive on a channel called the Why Files, the theory of the Philadelphia experiment is definetely not true but if you can watch the video on it its pretty interesting P.S. thats REALLY obscure, props for putting that in man, your story is really good
