If Blacks participate at Sturgis, It won't be long before people stop going. Not all blacks are bad but look what happened to every mall in America. Crime follows and whites stop going. Sad but true.
I rode 26 yrs outlaw club and we had black guys out of 75 guys maybe 6 were black and I would go out of my way and be over nice to let them know NOBODY should feel hated by the color of your skin. if your a dick then dont come around but if your cool we ride ex 82nd,,, big island

looking great...welcome to the road UFO club as I've been told how the rear of my bike looks like at night..but at the same time no way nobody can say they can't see us and get away with that comment.
just slow down a lil bit and act normal or flucuate the speed a bit to make them wonder..especially if you're 10 over..now for me if im 10 or under over i just maintain the speed and act normal like i dont even see them..
good video and yep you're right those are the basics for sure.. just that simple as far as the items you need...just the courage and learning how things work and trying new things takes time for sure..I know my latest video I finally done something new with it and it literally took me almost an hr alone just to add the new part of the video that isn't in any of my other videos I've done to date..So not sure if it helps any or not or completely bombs out the vibe of the video but is what it is as far as I see it about that. Indeed though it definitely isn't a overnight thing creating a new channel and learning things for sure.
Never had a problem with anyone that rides no matter what they ride. I don't do rallies anymore because I don't handle crowds well as I'm getting older. Enjoy ride safe were ever the road takes you. ✌️

If you know they already tagged you maintain speed and let cop decide if hes pulling you over.Words from my cousin an ex cop "The moment you hit the brakes or slow down you just admitted guilt"
@TobyNorthEN even that according to my cousin will get you pulled over forsure. If speed on his radar showed you slowing down his lights would come on.
I 100% agree with you and do the same thing. It's a great habit and practice to adopt and keep. But I will not render or return a biker wave to a Slingshot. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and ride safe!!
@@WeAreOne-31 The biker wave is biker to biker (bikes, trikes, and Can-ams). Slingshots are automobiles. Slingshots have steering wheels, bucket seats, seat belts, and (most importantly) do not require a course or "M" endorsement on the license to operate. It's no knock or insult towards Slingshot drivers or the vehicle itself. But some Slingshot drivers think (and act like) they should be treated like motorcycles. If you go to a motorcycle event or rally you may even see Slingshots (wrongly) parked in areas specifically and legally marked for motorcycles. Great question! Thank you for asking!!
Great advice Toby. It’s been several years since I did the MSF course. I think as you pointed out initially new riders or beginners get caught up in there own heads worrying about other people watching or judging them, but in fact everyone there is more worried about trying to pass the course themselves and focusing and perfecting there own riding skills. It’s getting over that initial anxiety that’s probably hurdle for alot of folks. Good topic 🙂🏍️👍
I agree!!! Things like this are one of the great perks of riding. Seeing stuff like this without seeing it through a glass vehicle window. Ride safe!!!
Man it has been forever since I went through MSF. However if you are one of the ones that stress about the back to back U turn remember you don't fail for going outside the lines (take the whole parking lot if you need to) just don't put your foot down. That is an auto fail on your test. The trick is once you pass continue to practice on your own until you nail it.
That's a great point RustyTheBiker! The final test is a point-based test like a driver's license. The lower the number (points) the better. And YES...PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE! Thanks for sharing and ride safe!!!
@4:11 what you were told about skulls is factually incorrect. They can categorically determine a persons ethnicity by their skull shape... we infact... do not all have the same skulls. "Skulls' are popular with "bikers" because its supposed to be edgy and scare away the squares. For some reason people think associating themselves with death/demonic/occult and motorcycles makes them look cool... but they're as edgy as a golf ball.

These are great things to add to the motovlogger repertoire but I'd argue that it's not a necessity to start motovlogging. If a person wants to talk while they ride, it's helpful, but some folks ride and don't use a mic. But this is a definite item that would be greatly helpful. Thanks for the advice. A microphone is a great add-on but arguably not an absolute need starting out. A person could record a ride and add music or even record a voice-over during editing. If you watch Meg's Motorcycle Journey her earliest videos were all voice-over - no mics used during her (half-helmet) riding. Thanks again and ride safe!
Not me. I'm not ruining my motorcycle riding with all that Electronic junk.😂 But I'm glad everybody else does Because I sure love watching it.😂😂 Be careful, ride safe.
I'm probably an extreme example...lol. I know folks who DO record but only to capture their rides and memories for their kids and grandkids. Whatever path you chose, ride safe. Thanks for sharing kerrymcclure!! I appreciate it.
Y'now what Bob...out of all the comments from others...your comment makes the most sense for the intent of this video. I was trying to capture the (bare minimum) things that aspiring motovloggers need to start. And even though having a motorcycle is an assumed thing, NOTHING can be assumed at this time. LOL. LOL thanks, Ben! I left those out intentionally. These are the three things (minimum) that aspiring motovloggers have to buy or download first to start the adventure. These are great things to work on and develop. Ride safe!
I find great audio is one of the biggest challenges. Started our channel to allow us to watch our rides when maybe we can’t ride as much in the future but then found others like watching to. Cheers Smithy
Thanks, John! It was intentional. Considering how intimidating motovlogging is to some (many) I focused on IMO the three minimal things necessary to begin. But a topic IS a good thing to have before or during a ride.
I agree and still struggle with this (courage). Either it's the courage to talk to myself while riding or to continue talking with other vehicles around me and at stopped locations. Especially if I'm doing something like a bike review at a dealership on the showroom floor or walking around it before and after the demo ride. Thanks for sharing! Ride safe!

I do love my action cameras, but there are definitely a lot of folks out there doing A+ quality stuff with a phone. I personally can't stand editing with phone apps (last resort), but they are great for what they are!
We're in the same boat! I am not a fan of editing on my phone. I've done it...but I prefer a big monitor for my blind ass. LOL. Thanks for sharing your experiences and ride safe! Someone is reading your comment and being encouraged!
