no mechanical knobs or buttons? IMO touch controls in autos should be illegal. The need for a driver to take their eyes off the road to use touch controls makes them dangerous.
How do you change the trip set up? Also, my new to me 2017 EX is showing that I'm getting 18 MPG. My understanding was that it should be closer to 27 MPG. I'm not driving like a madman so curious to see from scratch.
Hey Scott, I have a 2014 Accord EX-L, and the factory head unit is different. Is it possible to upgrade to the 2016 head unit seen in your video, or is there more to it than just swapping the head units?
I never got a reply on that. After a while I decided to move on to a android based head unit since Google Maps is way better than any of the factory navigation options.
Its a generic China made unit I got off ebay. 10" screen with a custom bezel to fit the dash. Unfortunately its made for the lower end accords that don't have a premium sound ( external amplifier ), so I have yet to get it installed, as I need to use lower level outputs to feed the signal to the external amp. I have the 2016 Accord Touring and I am on my 2nd radio. I will go aftermarket if I have this issue again. Other than that I love my Accord. But that is a major issue to have every year or so.
Eric Mirabal Because the sports model is a cheaper package. Other then the 2 mufflers and a spoiler, there's nothing special in it. The EX-L, the fully loaded model is of course going to have the best features. Want more features, shell out more cash for the better model.
The dual screens aren't as good as it sounds man. If you want to turn the volume on the music up you have to tap the screen a bunch of times in the same place while driving instead of turn a dial quickly. Only thing I like is the navigation
