@@rickyhall4079 i am not sure which mr03 rtr’s come with the narrow chassis all of the ones I have bought have all been wide chassis but the rtr’s come with the parts to change them to a narrow front end
@@roadstar499 that layout was the last club race and it works really well because we run the mini z program in the morning and then it is a quick conversion to oval to run the 1Rc oval program in the afternoon

Yes, here in lee county fl there are no rc race tracks..i recently bought some 1/43 and a couple of wltoys 1/28..in last week or 2 i have definitely improved skills...i am guessing if i ever find a mini z track the skills i am getting now will be helpful .but all cars handle a bit different...i may want to get a mini z to run also in near future...
@@Rcprescription mike with my Radiolink receivers i get 700 to 1000 meters and with the elrs module even further. I have tested it out to 3/4 of a mile so far. The biggest advantage to speed running is the transmitter on ELRS is only 3ms of latency
@@rickyhall4079 if you want to do the same setup as mine run the softest springs for the disk dampner, a soft T plate, and the yellow springs in the front.

Can u make a video on the nexxspeed disk damper and review it for us. Im looking into myself but i also got the nexxspeed dual spring shock for it and wonder how its installed
@@rickzfpv3118 possibly, have been researching Noble and Futaba for future and came across the RadioMaster as another option in a FB mini-z group... right now I only have a Kyosho RTR mini-z, been making some improvements to it. Looking at possibly building an RX 1:28 and then I would need/want a better radio. I'm currently living in UK (US originally) and accessing a larger track is very difficult in my area, requires long travel. I have a small DIY home track using EVA puzzle tiles, it's small (10m) and only one tile (50cm) road width w/ squared off turns, so its rather more a technical track. It's easy to put up/take down tho, and I have been learning a lot about driving with it, as well can really see the difference various tires and other mods make. Am also weighing whether it makes any sense to build the RX and get the better radio and use it on my small DIY track, might be an interesting experiment even if I can't take advantage of the additional power and speed, the better control and cornering might be cool to witness... I am using a LapMonitor system so I can see lap time differences when I make changes and improve driving skills etc.
I use the MXO evo receivers you can get them in many different protocols. I use the flysky afhds2 protocol on mine but you could also use the kyosho fhss protocol also.
You can change the tires over to onroad tires thats what i do when I speed run it. Bodies would be a trial and error thing to see what fits because the arms on buggies are wider than touring car arms. For parking lot racing depending on what you want there are some good options out there. The Tamiya tt02 is probably the most popular for a spec racing car. I have a tt01 that I switch motors on so I can speed run it and use it for parking lot racing, I also have a Integy 3 racing touring car that is a belt car instead of shaft drive that i run in our parking lot 13.5 mod spec class.
I just set up an rcp track with expansion pack in the basement. These things are an absolute blast and we need more videos about them. Keep them coming.
I have a Mazda lemans miniz and would really like to go brushless. Is there a kit for that or what fits in place of the stock brushless motor and gear. Any help would be much appreciated.
Can you send me the file for 3D printed adapter for the Rally? Or I am open to purchase the actual part if you can do that. If I like them I would probably have about 5 other guys who would buy them too. Maybe I could buy an entire batch of them from you.
Yeah I will find the link for the adapters gor you the better way to go that i found though is to order the foam tires from gonebananas that is what I do. A set of 4 foam tires is about 12.00. The xray tires are more expensive and harder to find
@rickzfpv3118 yes I have the banana foams on it not. We all do, only problem is getting them when they are in stock. We ordered 12 sets for all our cars , 2 sets each. We had to wait for them to be made, and it took a while. Just thought the ones your using may be more readily available.

I water break in all my motors and no i don’t run the car in training mode. I use mine with a MT 12 transmitter, at 100% on everything at times i run my throttle at 120% for a little extra power. The car is no longer in the same configuration as it was in this video. I am running PN racing adjustable knuckles on it now and a PN racing 70 turn motor, and a jomurema GT 01 body on it with a reflex racing front clip. Car is much faster and much more consistent. In the video with the car running it was just on my practice track in my garage track is too small to run the car at full speed
Hello, Is the firmware fork still available? Can you tell me how to do the same thing, namely adding an ELRS module to my Flysky GT3B with a PPM/DSC port.
I don’t know if the firmware fork is still available the best option out there right now if you want to run elrs is the Radiomaster mt12 i have had one for a while now and it is the best transmitter i have ever owned
Right on.. I can see how one could get hooked on racing those Mini Zs. Looking forward to seeing the TT01 run as well, but no rush 👍 Just looking back on your build, I would stiffen up the body around the sides and wheels, or tape it down so it doesn't start flopping at high speed. Thank you i will definitely do that. Yeah the mini z thing has been kind of addictive for me. Kyosho has worked a lot of the bugs out and they handle and drive like the bigger cars.
Thanks mike its done now just have to get the time to get out and do some passes. I am looking at a couple new spots won't be able to run it now on my street.
@@rickzfpv3118 really? I like 1/10th best so far. It feels like I can translate alignment etc to my irl drift car. I'm not sure I could do that with a mini z. Although I feel like they run mini z by me quite often compared to rc drift, I still have not purchased one. Soon though.
@@SHREDTOKILL yeah that is kind of what got me started with the mini z’s I have 2 tracks close to me to race them on and the closest 1/10th track is 4 1/2 hours away
That's crazy, that is my situation as well. The nearest hobby town has a mini z track they set up on the regular. The nearest drift RC establishment to me would be Shadow Club in Illinois, which is about 2 hours away from me. I'd love to go down there, but I have also considered getting a store front here in milwaukee.....maybe I should just buy a mini z and go hang out at hobby town.
@@SHREDTOKILL with the mini z’s you really don’t have to do much too them the biggest class everywhere is the box stock class. 200.00 for the mini z ready set, 14.00 for a disk dampner, and 14.00 for a p/n 70 turn motor and you can run with the fastest guys
