I am using the Leica CS30 but I am having troubles with connection in large distances. Generally more than 200 meters from the total station. I have used CS20 and it is much better in connection with long range bluetooth. Is the CC180 better than the CS30? I have seen than CS30 has an external module (anntena) while CC180 is internal al Bluetooth is v5.3
Yes, using the keyboard mode of the D5 or X6 you can send a measurement value to any active cursor position. How to setup this communication you can find on our RU-vid video: How to use the Bluetooth keyboard mode on Leica DISTO D5 or X6 with an iOS: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Df0fCAX5D_4.html How to use the Bluetooth keyboard mode on Leica DISTO D5 or X6 with Windows: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L2IrNR3L-jM.html How to use the Bluetooth keyboard mode on Leica DISTO D5 or X6 with Android: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xHVID-X5hZE.html
I have this Disto X6 but i'm disappointed because, without the DST 360-X, in normal use is not possible to store more than 4 measures and this must be done manually pushing the save button! That is useless. I was expecting the possibility to automatically save enough data, at least the last 40 measures (better much more) like others less expensive disto. Hope that this will be fixed soon.
The DISTO X6 has this new possibility to save reports. It is possible to save 300 of those reports and view them on the device or download later on. All savings are made with a time stamp. This manual saving ensures that only relevant measurements (incl. a picture) are saved by press of one button by the user and will allow to much easier find relevant measurements later on. Please try out this new concept that has received a lot of appreciation by many customers. The automatic measurement is still available on other Disto devices. We hope this helps, please do not hesitate to contact us again if you have any further questions. Your Leica Geosystems team
@@LeicaGeosystemsCH i like the possibility to save report, but this must be a plus: in normal mode my instrument (i hope is a bug) is allowed to save 300 report composed with only 4 measure inside, that's nothing, and it don't keep in memory more than the 4 past measures. This is not an improvement. I was hoping for a solution, but you are inviting me to change instrument. I have my old one. This lack is serious, so if there isn't an upgrade in the next monts that is probably what i will do. You have made a very good new instrument ruined by a very simple thing.
Hi, both devices allow to measure P2P (3D geometries) and save date on the device itself. The S910 has this so called P2P technology integrated, the X6 would need a DST 360-X adapter in addition. So finally we would recommend anyway P2P-packages in order to use that feature. If you are not interested in P2P the X6 might be the sufficient solution.

Hi, I got the Leica Disto Plan app. I dont have a Leica device yet because I want to test the features first. In the plan app, I can input the heights and see a 3d model but when choosing to export, I only see 2D and 2D+height options. There is no 3D export option not even for purchase. Is that normal? If I buy an X4 device can I P2P measure a complex interior space and a facade with a sloped roof and get accurate 3D model of those measures? Thanks!
Hi, by use of the P2P functions in the App you will be able to measure any 3D geometry (Measure 3D). It will require to have a device that is supporting P2P measuring. The latest device supporting the P2P functionality would be the DISTO™ X6. Also the X3 can be used, the DISTO™ X4 might be sold out. Note, for any of those devices you will also need the DST 360 (for the X3 or X4) respectively DST 360-x (for the X6) to measure P2P. Hope this helps. Further information is available on our webpage.
@@Constantinesis Yes, you can export from the App in either DXF or DWG format. Please note, this export is not free of charge and you need to subscribe or purchase the App.
Great video! Great technology! We've seen what happens when you put not a professional land surveyor (in this video foreman) to work with this kind of equipment. The machine can do a lot of work but you need a professional to read it correctly.
I will have to start using leica soon, and I already like it. This has nothing to do with all the crap this video is talking about, but only because i can check view and better controll my observations since i ll be able to know some prism attribute. I would like to know also the variables that leica has in relation to atmosphere . Can t wait to mess around. I have been using trimble, and i can say that atm from what the video is talking about, trimble is massively ahead of leica, even because of the fulent moviment the instrument has following the targhet and the much responsive and better organization of the controller . Yet , leica has the huge advantage of declaring some attributes that i can t wait to manipolate and understand. No i mean the other way round , understand and manipulate XD
after all these years, my first criticism: morea nd more i see this kind of clips from you. this just look cheap. use "real" people on "real" projects and in "real" offices as your clients are. this is not worthy of a first class manufacturer/supplier of surveying-instruments. No question, we sell the best in this field and "for the field". We should/must not forget that.
I want to stake a line at any increment or chainage... is this possible. For example I want to mark out grid lines on batter boards. Instead of figuring out the increment at the batter board, I just need Hz offset of the line(in/out or left/right)
Hello Ameer, please click on the following link for the English version of the video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7S4R_wo5g90.html We hope you have a pleasant day, your Leica Geosystems team.
Thank you for your comment. Tilt compensation is turned off when tilt initialization is lost. There could be many reasons for losing tilt initialization, but not moving the receiver does not necessarily mean switching off tilt compensation automatically. We hope this helps, your Leica Geosystems team.
@@LeicaGeosystemsCH а не могли бы Вы тогда более подробно об этом рассказать? Почему во время RTK съёмки если перестать двигать приёмником, то часто отключается компенсатор наклона? Что можно сделать, чтобы он не отключался?
In the Edit points (or Line tab) should have a new tab called stake out as a key shortcut to directly stake the selected point or line in the points or line manager.
If we are using the GPS and we are staking out ( RTK via VRS) it shoud warning us or locking the display if it is out of accurancy. Leica only shows a message box in case of saving the mesured point and this is out of accurancy. But how we are controlling the accurancy during the staking out? Do the same when it lose the gprs signal..
