how are you getting so much damage on those attacks and helm breaks? At most I see ~150-200 on my Helm Break tics when I have Agitator 6 and Attack Boost 7 using Fatalis LS
Just a quick heads up for anyone trying to kill fatalis, this is not a tutorial, it's a speedrun. They're using fatalis gear because that results the best time and if you want to kill him with your limited pre fatalis meta build then you're not going to be killing the monster nearly as fast
Thanks! I originally wanted to speedrun other monsters in Iceborne but speed running Fatalis kind of broke me LMAO. I knew getting fast times took A LOT of tries but never realized how much time it really took if you're really trying to go for World Record / near World record times. So for now I think I am done but I might attempt some monster in Rise: Sunbreak when it comes out!
Can you help me with something? When I flinch shot him he is always too far away for me to foresight the roar and then go to a helmbreaker, even if im really close to a wall his body just goes far
You have to flinch shot him on the right side of his head. If you do it on the left side of his head, you'll get launched far from the boss to Foresight.
I love Nier's sound track :v) I don't do heroics as a personal choice. I think Freestyle + No Heroics (without Smoke Bomb abuse) is more difficult than Heroics runs because Heroics runs usually require Smoke Bomb abuse to get free Healmbreakers off and that just doesn't sound fun to me. Although I do think Heroics runs are probably less frustrating to do because you eliminate a lot of RNG with Smoke Bomb.
Thanks for the compliment! But keep in mind speedruns like these are just a snapshot of what players have to grind to reach a time goal. I think I've reset / attempted this quest about 6000+ times and my runs are still behind 15 - 30 seconds the current fastest / potentially fastest kill time. At a certain point, it is mostly player vs. monster AI RNG.

Lmao thanks fam but it's just RNG. Breaking the head first time in the 1st area is good if you have Evasion Mantle ATK proc'd during the headbreak. Otherwise, it's just as good to break it during 2nd area.
Drop to handi 1, it's more than sufficient. I suggest putting heavy arty on the temporal and learning to tenderize without it. Not worth dropping to coal 1 imo. Also, why do you omit the iai slash on the headbreaks? Other than that, good run 👍🏻
Hey June! Big fan of your gameplay. I will try out the changes you are suggesting! Regarding skipping Iai Slash's on head break: You are completely right. There should be enough time to always Iai Slash on headbreaks in Phase 1 or Phase 2 if you start the head break on Yellow Gauge and I lost some damage on the first head break. It's a habit I picked up to completely remove the risk of missing the Round Slash at the end of the head break before Fatalis recovers ON Phase 3 since he recovers slightly faster from the head break. More often than not if the head break is from a helmbreaker in Phase 3, you usually have to walk/roll towards the head and unless you're close enough to start the Spirit Slash combo earlier, the Round Slash at the end always misses (unless I'm not pressing my buttons fast enough...). Regardless thanks for pointing this out!
I don’t understand what is so wrong, I’m a zerk with 504.8 and deal only like 23m, how can someone with similar gear damage literally twice as I do lol (Also you play very very good)
Your damage heavily depends on the party. If you are running with random people you will almost never get a perfect run. If you run with a good static tho (that's what i assume Starshideyourfires did) then you'll have better dps. For example: In the video you can see that every time he activated deadly gamble, the priest also activated his buffs. That alone is a huge damage increase. Also if you have a party with high overall damage and you clear the boss in a shorter amount of time then of course everyone will have higher dps.
Newb here (ill use a mic if possible help to fix this issue) Or literally any help like in general. But specficly this quest is stuck, it kicks me out everytime i defeat one of the bosses, it takes away all the potions etc i used on them. I did contact tera, via support ticket dayssss ago. No response- im literally in desperate need of anything bc i rlly like this game. But everyones ignored me :I even the support

@@DeanRU-vid But FAUH has 90000 phys res in the patch 98. Commander was the 80000 phys res. maybe the NA tera is different? And lumikan it's really 70000 phys res in TW tera.
