Great review! I’m looking forward to receiving mine and will be doing an unboxing and review as soon as I receive her. I love that they decided to go with a TBLeague body. Good decision on their part. Although there are more pros for a seamless body, good points on the cons as well..
I love this line but I passed on this one. I prefer the male characters with the exception of Dr. BB bc I like her suit. It seems like they alternate so the next one will probably be male
Can’t wait to get mine. Looks amazing. So glad I kept on with the collection. Will probably grab the BHead iguana armor once he has a release date. The boy is still my favorite.
@@robertokratosrage102 if 5K Toys is a USA based company they will have to bulk ship so would take longer than the china based companies like onesixthkit.com etc I don’t know anything about 5K Toys though never used them but it seems a few of you here have.
most places only do pre-orders and then close them off after a certain amount of time. OSK does the same thing. This is because they are unlicensed and don't leave them up permanently to be found by the license owners.
Not a recast it is the same mould otherwise you'll see a huge difference in details. They even purposely make it not 1:1 so there would still be a difference. It's unwriten rule that companies allow reproduction of these 3rd party/bootlegs to allow continuous employment in factories. It is a general unwritten rule
Thank you for this review! I've been looking for reviews that would compare the ZD Toys to the Marvel Legends one. As good as the the Marvel Legends one is, it just felt too small. I thought the ZD toys one being part a 7 inch line would be bigger but turns out he's just the same height. Which is weird given it's supposed to 1/10 scale...
No problem. I recall my mic failing on this one and couldn’t be bothered to go and reshoot the whole thing again so just tried to do the best with the audio picked up from my phone mic.
Guyver is a very niche property. It's mostly faded into obscurity for everyone but, Guyver fans. So, you take that small fan base and whittle them down to the people who would also buy Guyver figures. Then you whittle that down some more to just the people who would buy a 1/6th scale Guyver with light up bits. My guess is they thought they needed to divide the production cost amongst the people they think would actually buy it. That's my hypothesis. But, they could just being greedy. Even if they believed they needed to price it based on predicted sales projections, I still think you're right about it being way overpriced. Now, I wonder if there'll one day be a figma Guyver gigantic? The 2000's Guyver animated series Gigantic looked to be 12-15 feet tall! I'm guessing a new figma of gigantic would be 10-12 inches to reflect the height difference. i wonder how much I Guyver gigantic figma would be? Especially, if it's over 10" inches tall.
