Well they start weaning between 3-5 years old a lot like humans. It's also a process just like humans because each kid is different. Jabali is being weaned and Ringo is getting there. Jabali turns 4 at the end of the month.

They were more worried about Jabali. The comments were downright hateful toward Tayari and how she was such a "horrible" mother to Jabali. People always compared her to Genki and Iriki. People are now doing the same for Orangutan Jingga at Blackpool Zoo. Primate infants are a lot tougher than humans give them credit for.
