Needs to be on a tripod, and generally phones struggle in low light with noise etc

@@djpthurso thanks for the reply is it possible to see the lights in dumfries and galloway dark sky park the bruces stone looks the ideal setting thanks

@@FreedomOverFear there is a chance although it is a bit far south for regular sightings

It has been a pain

Have caught the aurora there a few times and the waves. Is now popular and can be difficult to find a quiet time. Nothing for a few months now until it starts getting proper darkness again.

There are a few places I’d Like to shoot at night. Have you tried Puffin Cove yet?

Works fine for timelapse but lack of clear skies means I haven't tried it for milky way. Crossing fingers for tonight
