NEO-NOIR AT ITS FINEST. A forgotten film I just found. I had never heard of this film version. Great camera work and fine photography. I’m amazed at the image quality. This is quite a find 7.5/10.

This movie extract is from Mississippi Burning, which was directed by Alan Parker. Mississippi Burning tells the story of what happened when several FBI agents went to Mississippi to investigate the disappearance of three boys. This extract describes the funeral of the black boy Chaney. Among the different scenes shown in the camera cutting, there are several shots that are particularly eye-catching. Instead of letting the characters occupy the main position in the picture, they use the sunset as the setting and fill most of the picture with scenery. The most typical example is the scene where the FBI drives a car to pick up Ward and Aderson. The sunset takes up 2/3 of the entire screen. Thick clouds blocked the sunlight and reflected the red sunset, making the whole scene dark and unclear. Alan Park uses sunset as the setting here, to show viewer the sad atmosphere and hinting that things will get worse. Because the sunset is the transition from day to night. Mississippi is about to enter the night with all its sins. This technique is also used earlier in the movie, where Alan Parker often uses night to show bad things will happen. The clouds blocking the sun indicates that Mississippi's justice, freedom, and equality are hindered by many barriers, such as local police taking the lead in murder, the KKK's wanton behavior, and the court's unfair ruling. At the same time, the monologue in the aural bridge here is "What if you look at the blood shed, it is red, it is like yours, it is just like yours." Alan Park uses the red sunset to unify the audience's vision and hearing, giving the stronger impact makes people realize more deeply that people of all skin colors have the same blood and live under the same sky, and makes people think about the irrationality of segregation. This actually has strong educational significance for the concept of equality for everyone in modern society.

This is Dr. Farid Al-Jarrah Today we will be with immortal gems in world cinema With the big movie (Reversal of Fortune).. Movie name: Reversal of Fortune Production year: 1990 Rating: 7.2 Rating: R (not suitable for family viewing) Language: English/German American, Japanese and English co-production Genre: Biography / Drama / Mystery ☯ .. Film duration: 111 minutes Revenues: $15.4 million A film based on a true story and one of the films that leaves the viewer spinning and wondering from the beginning of the film, but without answers. The film came out with an amazing amount of suspense and mystery, with a great story and scenario, and a very genius narration and directing style. One of the best investigation films I have ever seen in my life, which shows the role of the lawyer in a very wonderful way, and first and foremost the film is about the lawyer.. And a great acting performance from the giant (Jeremy Irons) with a wonderful and fabulous performance. He snatched the Oscar without anyone realizing it. He took it in silence and deserved it. He is a first-class actor. The events of this film take place within a dramatic framework based on a true story about the coma, which suddenly occurred to a woman from the richest American family named (Sunny), as her husband (Kloss) was accused of killing her so that he could inherit her wealth, and he was tried and convicted in that case. Considering that he is the primary beneficiary of her murder, the husband seeks the help of an experienced lawyer to prove his innocence, but the question remains: Did he actually kill her or not? Simply put, it is a movie that plays in the viewer's brain in a brilliant way. It is one of the most forgotten movies at this time, and it is definitely worth all your time. Starring: Glenn Close, Jeremy Irons, Ron Silver, Annabella Sciorra, Fisher Stephens, Jack Gilpin, Christine Baranski, Stephen Miller, Kristin Dunford, Felicity Huffman, Johann Carlo, Alan Pottinger.. Written by: Nicholas Kazan (author), Alan Dershowitz (book) Directed by: Barbet Schroeder The film won an Oscar, won 13 international awards, and was nominated for 16 other awards...? My kindest regards

Buona giornata!. 👋
