Wait your race anywhere??? I'm the guy that carbon wrapped the Wheel RIM that's currently sitting in your showroom. It's the Leather 330R circle rim without the hole cutouts. It's carbon wrapped on both sides.
Just installed and setup my new simagic gear alpha gt neo and p1000 I bought from you guys 😄 🙌🏻 Thjs video great in helping with the base settings 😎😄 I have an issue calibrating brake though once calibrated and goes back to the main pedal page when testing and pressing the brake it never reaches 100% stops at 99%? No matter how hard I press? Any idea what’s causing this? This is the loadcell option when I switch it to angle it shows 100% ? I realise this is a force feedback video but I’m at a loss as to what’s causing this any help would be much appreciated 😎🙏🏻
Thanks a lot, it was very helpful, just one question, do you have any plan to talk about the IRacing FFB settings? how much should be the Strength, I do not like that much the auto setting from IRacing as I always for me set to something low which looks like driving on air :D btw I have the same wheelbase with 15Nm
I just turned off ALL of the simpro manager settings, and my simagic alpha has come alive. previously I used race beyond matters' suggested settings, and the comparison between then, and now with ZERO settings is ten times better. it allows the sim itself to communicate the information a lot more efficiently
I'll try this out as ive been using his settings for a couple of months, theyre great despite the wheel moving on straights when letting go of the wheel
Great series of videos, perfect timing too as I got the fantastic GT Neo last month and the Alpha is supposedly going to be delivered today from RaceAnywhere. One thing to note though; the maximum torque for the current v3 version of the Alpha has been measured at 18.5Nm so quite a lot more than the advertised 15Nm!
Looking forward to what the new AC Evo is going to bring to the table. If Kunos can recapture the atmosphere and variety of the original AC and add in much of the physic advancements and graphics they used in ACC while retaining the allowing the modding community in attitude this will be the biggest thing in years as far as Sims go. Hopefully the new in house game engine Kunos is using for ACE will be a lot friendlier and more efficient for VR as well unlike ACC and unreal engine they used for that. Last rumor I heard was an early access release for PC , summer 2024 before the end of this fiscal year which comes to a close at the end of July. Still does not mean it will not get put off longer though.
Massive thank you to you too for being in this space and doing what you do. Been watching your videos from early days and appreciate all of them Good luck with your continuing adventures. You and Race Anywhere are awesome 💪🏻😎
I think you’d be a great fit! Glad to see John continuing his endeavors and while I’ll try for that spot as well, your content is awesome and I would like to see your content on RaceAnywhere
@@little_regret thank you so much brother! you definitely have a great portfolio yourself and some awesome variety! no matter what happens, having John back at traxion is a win for everyone! stoked to see traxion back on my youtube recommend!
Serious Racing has been funneled into 4 games that are actually worth getting rn. AC/ACC/Evo, WRC(its become incredible trust me), Le Mans Ultimate, and IRacing. Forza, Gt, and F1 have ruined their credibility with the arcadey bs(not to mention all have completely ignored their communities). My Must Have Sim Game List. 1. AC 2. ACC 3. F12020 4. LeMansU 5. WRC
Fantastic news about Traxion returning, it left a big hole last year when it went. Really enjoyed your content on here too and just want to say what a fantastic company Race Anywhere is, they were fantastic last summer when I bought my first high end pedals. Best of luck to all involved.
Don't know about talking and not crashing, I would be happy with just not crashing. Seriously, enjoyed the videos John, glad Traxion is making a return and best of luck for the future. I am sure Martin will find a worthy successor.
I was glad to see you back on this channel following the Traxion news. Now glad to see Traxion is back and you're returning! Really enjoy your content and dedication to the hobby wherever you are! Hope the best for you and RaceAnywhere!
Great video and a refreshing take on not just recommending AC for everything that I often see. There's so many other studios working hard to make modern content packages that need more recognition and support, so well done for highlighting the "underdogs". I take the same approach of turning to a variety of titles dependant on the racing disciplines / series' that I want to race in as each title has particular strengths in that regard. I know your objective for the video was to focus on PC simracing, but GT7 (while flawed in many places) offers a seriously wide range of content in terms of cars and tracks, so much that it rivals most PC sims for variety.
I installed my Simagic Alpha Mini, P1000 pedals and FX Pro wheel today, and this video series was highly beneficial. LMU feels like a different game compared to my Fanatec CSL DD.
WRC Generations is still good and has an integrated league mode if you find DR 2.0 boring. They both have decent physics in their own ways, but sadly we don't have any rally game that ticks all the boxes. Even EA WRC has dubious asphalt physics and rain effects, for example. We could do a whole video about rally games...
Very awesome video. Even though I have practically every single one mentioned, I don't do iRacing. But I did learn more about some things I have been missing in some of the sims. Just don't have the time to invest in I racing though - I had a 3 month trial and put in less then 12 hours total (although, I didn't have the set-up I have now). But, factoring in single screen, triple screens or VR also plays a big part in the games. If I am just wanting to drive around, triples are good. Rally definitely has to be VR. But, Kart Kraft with VR is insane. The only time I ever got vertigo was when the kart spun and was rolling backwards, and I felt like I was going to be sick. Had to take the VR off and walk it off!
Something I’ve always wanted to see was a dedicated time attack or hillclimb sim. Sure neither of those are extensive enough to have a super packed game, but I feel like a team good enough with proper sponsoring could release a fairly good sim albeit not super extensive, with all the classes (limited, unlimited etc) for a $20-30 price tag. Idk how good of an idea it really is but it’s always cool to think about lol
Really great overview! Didn't know about the NHRA game, unfortunately seems to not support wheels. Would love some deeper dives on some of the lesser known sims in the future.
Very instructive video. One of the things I can't get working in SimPro Manager is getting ABS/TC/Pit/Flags warnings assigned to the buttons on the Simagic Neo wheel. Any help?
Thank you very much for sharing these tutorials friend! Very well explained. I bought alpha 15nm + GT NEO. Could you help me with a situation? I was unable to configure the second shift pedals with the second clutch and the bite point. That would be for iracing.
It depends on a few factors... With Sim Hub you can have it working in many different scenarios to different levels, so quite possibly. But with the SimPro Manager software it's a little more basic, the brake feedback is specifically for ABS activation, and not all cars have ABS therefore the feedback would only work on certain cars.
