Wow what bullshit. Fooling the Italians and all these other people about uprock. Mr. Wiggles was electric boogie. He don't fit in with that California style. Looks silly on him. Whoever the other clown is you know right off the bat he isn't from New York. You can see that the first 10 seconds.

@@djdedan here's a quick and brief history of the dances mentioned. Rock dancing or uprocking or Brooklyn rocking started with the NYC street gangs in '69 till '72-'73. In '73, the Loft, which was run by Dj David Mancuso, which was his loft apartment, started the club nightlife scene and the dance Loft dance, or Lofting, was born there. Soon after, b-boying or breaking, came soon after in '73. All of this pre dates the hip hop culture.
@@djdedan early dance legends were, in rock dancing, Rubberband Man and Duz of Touch Of Rock. In Lofting, there wasn't any one person that stood out, but one that comes to mind and that's Storenzo Dom of Loft Unlimited. As far as b-boying or breaking, the Zulu Kings were historically, the first b-boying or breaking crew. Early pioneers of breaking are Spy 1, Brownie, Track 2 from Starchild La Rock, one of the first b-boy crew. Zulu Kings are part of the Zulu Nation, and were the younger members of the Black Spades Bronx street gang called the Baby Spades. One of the original Baby Spades and original Zulu Kings b-boy is a guy by the name of Cholly Rock. He taught Fliprock of the New York City Breakers, who was in Beat Street, how to break.
what a trip to see early new york bboys adopting los angeles pop lock styles.i think normski style was electric boogaloo. i saw an interview mr. wiggles did and he mentioned and gave props to LA for our contribution to early hip hop. remember shabadoo and rerun were in the LA Lockers in the 1970s.
