What's with where the pod cast is being taped? Back of some guys motor home...wait a minute remember when kiss meets the phantom was compared to star wars
The tough thing about being a KISS fan from way back (for me, at least) is that those guys CONTINUALLY talk about the visual spectacle. Growing up, none of us could convince our parents to take us to a KISS concert. All we had were the albums. Hearing the ALIVE! album was amazing! It was the SONGS that we loved. It was Ace's guitar solos. Some of the best discoveries were early songs when Ace didn't have a "solo", he played lead throughout the song! Amazing listening experience. It was music. I just can't understand how Paul and Gene seem to think it's the fire and bombs that made them. The cracks started to show on Love Gun in my opinion. That album was saved by Shock Me. Incidentally, that's about when fire and bombs started being the main attraction. Of the solo albums, Ace again. Dynasty had better songs, but again Ace led the pack. Unmasked was another "cracks are showing" listening experience but Ace was still delivering. After that it was all downhill, and image over substance was the new norm. Forever with Bruce's solo was the exception. And now, Avatards? I guess I'm the old guy yelling from the porch now, but "Screw you Avatards! Get off my lawn!" ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT PAUL DRESSED UP AS A TEDDY BEAR AND COMFORTED CRYING CHILDREN OVER ERIC CARR'S PASSING THIRTY YEARS AGO! That's the retarded, distorted reality these folks live in.
@@Jet_Electro It was a KISS Kruise. Paul dressed up as a teddy bear and sat down on stage while kids of various ages sat around him. At one point a five year old starts crying and goes, "Why did Eric Carr die?" and everyone is all quiet while Uncle Paul talks about life and death... to a five year old that never met Eric Carr.
He sure does love that Peg Bundy blouse. This is roughly the 10,000 time I've seen Ms. Stanley wear it. Either Ms. Stanley wears the same ripe one every time, or the lady has a drawer full.
When we were kids, we used to play KISS records and pretend we were the band. A fight over who got to be Ace was inevitable. I don't think young people today have ever mimed to Monster and fought over who gets to be Tommy.
Absolutely amazing interview, so much inside information about White Lion that i never knew. Been a White Lion fan since the 80s. I love that with social media we still have those videos and interviews to watch.
Right on Tim!!!!! 🤟I have never been a fan of White Lion, but Mike seems very cool and passionate, i may dig into his music and see if it clicks with me. Never stop Tim, you never cease to surprise me. SYNC ARMY🤟🎸
My fav Megadeth album! Glad you told me about your page Tim! Youre my favorite Trunk Nation caller and always thought you would kick ass with a podcast. This is just as good! Thanks for letting me know about it.
Like wang, I only knew the 2 hits from this album.I have never heard any of the other songs until now.I always liked the guitar playing but never really took the band seriously. We already had Bon jovi and van halen and I thought that white lion was kind of ripping them both off.I like their version of radar love and wait is still a great song..This episode was very entertaining lol I give it 5 chopsticks.Bam!
I loved white lion so much My brother made our own Tee-Shirt because we could never find one. It as awesome. Everyone asked me where I got it. They wanted one. I LOVED those years. WHITE LION WAS THE BEST IN THE WORLD ❤️🥹🙌😛
Whos worse here? Eddie Trunk or Paul Stanley? I'm genuinely asking. Eddie Trunk seems to me the disgruntled fan boy of a band that has two members he can't stand. Therefore he becomes just like thone two members by constantly throwing shade at the two of them because they won't come on his show and immediately becomes the thing he hates. Not that he's wrong about some of the things he says about them, but he never seems to find fault in the two fuckups in the band and consistently licks their balls in retaliation to being snubbed by Gene and Paul. He employs the same arrogance as those two and loudly so. Total hypocrisy of the highest level. But I listen to him ,for as long as I can stand him just to laugh. Rule # 1: Don't invite someone to your party just to piss on them.
Wow! Amazing interview! Best Mike Tramp interview i have even seen. Mike is real and genuine ...BTW I just subscribed to your channel....Rock on from Winnipeg Canada!
Both I and World Without Heroes should have been monster hits. The album could have been filled out nicely with the addition of Deadly Weapons, It's My Life and Nowhere To Run
