This is a very wrong statement that somehow became a common place beleif. Torque is just how much force the engine can produce and therefore only matters when dealing with towing. If everything else about a car is equal, then the car that makes 300ft lbs but red lines at 5k will accelerate a hell of a lot slower than a a car that makes 200ft lbs but red lines at 9k. The first car will only make +/- 230hp while the second will make 340 despite the significant less torque number
Horsepower refers to the power an engine produces. It's calculated through the power needed to move 550 pounds one foot in one second or by the power needs to move 33,000 pounds one foot in one minute
Yes listen to Stingray ^^^ Chains don’t need to be done to the extend that timing belts do yet it’s a part on a vehicle. Like every part including fluids everything wears out at some point.
Contrary to what this video says, a timing chain absolutely needs to be replaced after a certain amount of time and mileage. The heat and cold cycles plus the everyday driving stress on the chain will eventually stretch it ever so slightly until it starts making slapping abd rattling noises. This can lead to your vehicle jumping timing which can cause all sorts of bad problems.
@sakurauyou749 realistically, you should change those parts BEFORE you have any symptoms with your timing system. Any small problems can very quickly become big and expensive problems. It's better to get a new timing chain and tension blocks before they're worn out than it is to need new camshafts, timing gears or valves after ignoring the problems. Of course, we live in a throw away world, so just go get a new car instead.
Air suspension will be more comfortable & stable than spring suspension but air suspension is far more expensive to buy at first place and will be more expensive to maintain 😊😊😊
