WTF you nearly stopped at Hall Bends - a great way to get the rider behind hitting you to cause a 2nd accident. As a racer you really should know better.
@@72GLM internet warriors these days 😂 take all judgement from the 1 camera view. Meanwhile I’m watching my mates flying over there handlebars and piling up. Some people just don’t have anything nice to say anymore. Sad really
Was watching from the start/finish banking, cringing as the rider you dodged at the end wobbled down the middle of the straight from barn, bikes flying either side of him. Lucky you passed when you did, he swung 90 degrees right into the pit lane.
@@SuperBikerGP2T it looked like it. Came out of Barn really slow, thought he was going into the pit lane, but then moved out into the middle and was wobbling side to side. It was scary to watch.
@@edculwick1830 cheers mate, I agree with that. I can’t recall seeing anything on the led board. Maybe a glimpse of the yellow flag but by then it was already too late. I just got lucky and saw the bike just in time to swirve. They put the yellow flag out in less than 3 seconds from when the bikes were on the track
@@SuperBikerGP2T this video shows why flags aren't enough. But if there isn't an LED board (I'm sure there is) on the column of that bridge as you come into the mountain section there definitely should be!
@@vojtaborsky cheers mate, if you liked this you should watch my videos from round 7 at brands hatch last year. 3 seconds a lap quicker than in this video
@@alanflack4445 Cheers mate, I thought i was the last one that made it through but apparently a few others managed to avoid it. so there was another 7 that hit after i went past 😬
@@SuperBikerGP2T looked at the footage I captured from looking across at mountain section, not sure who it was in midfield bit his actions slowed a lot of the riders up which I think reduced the carnage further.
Nice work. How long have you been racing? I've just applied for my race licence and hope to race in my first mini twins at Castle Combe at the end of July!
@@tinkertime7165 cheers mate, I appreciate that. I think everyone feels a bit like that but by the time you’ve done the first race you will be loving it 👍
Long wait since ur last upload bro and nice race... this track looks good for your bike and riding style ,nice bends not to long straights. That thing sounds good man, what exhaust do you have?
Cheers mate, to be honest I’m struggling quite a bit. I don’t think my height and weight are helping but I think the bike could do with a tune up. every time I get overtaken it seems to be down a straight. This is a Titanium M4 full race system 👍
@@fariedroopen5441 yeah, I seemed to be pretty good through the first few corners and high flowing bits. next round is cadwell park so that’s a bit of everything with a lot of tight twisties. Hopefully I’ll have some better results
Thanks for these on boards. I’m doing my first trackday here in a months time. Im trying to get an idea of what gears you’re using for each bend. Is that only one downshift from 6th to 5th into riches that you’re doing there?
Awesome, what bike will you be on? yes so it’s 5th in turn 1, down to 2nd for turn 2. 4th for turn 3. 3rd for turn 4. 4th for turn 5. 3rd for turn 6. 4th for turn 7. Down from 6th to 3rd for turns 8 and 9. Ideally change to 3rd as you go from left to right. I struggled with this. Then 4th for bomb hole. 5th around coram. Down to 3rd for the last turn onto the straight
@@SuperBikerGP2T thanks a lot for this breakdown that’s super helpful!! I’m also on an SV 650 all be it a road spec version which is why I follow your videos. Trying to do as much homework as pos to get up to speed before some potential racing next year or after. 👍
@@jacklee6026 no problem buddy, just make sure you get some proper track focused tyres on the bike like supercorsa sc’s. It will make a hell of a difference
Dude just work more on the brakes and trailing in, also learn to scrb off speed... trust your tires eh. Was a good tight run. Some close calls too! Kudos.
Yup, I raced 750 and 1000cc Superbikes in the 80's. Retired toolmaker in the Okanagan Valley BC. now, with gold mining as a hobby. So good luck out there.
Keep pushing my guy, I honestly believe that on a more technical ie.curvy track you would fare much better against all those 600cc bikes case it's on the straights where they're killing you (imo)
Cheers buddy, I really try. we are all on fairly similar powered bikes in this class but I’m quite tall and heavy so I tend to suffer on the straights 😂
Cheers mate, unfortunately I’ve had so many issues with my new gopro12 black and GoPro 7 black that I’ve got rid of them. I’ve just bought an insta360 ace pro and it captures the footage nicely. Awesome picture quality. I just couldn’t deal with the reliability problems and freezing of the GoPros
@@ChasingTenths my 7 black worked faultless for almost 2 years before it started randomly freezing. The 12 black would last anywhere between 5 seconds and 10 minutes before it glitched and froze. I also had a new camera and new battery under warranty and still the same issues. The company has seriously gone down hill. The customer support wouldn’t assist me any more so I sold the camera. My brother has an 11 black that’s also freezing. Honestly I love GoPros when they are working correctly but they are just so unreliable. I’d assume they can’t handle vibration on the motorcycles. It’s a shame really because I’ve used them for 10 years
Looking good, that up and down shifts sound sweeeet brother .I see that needle is also fixed, had me paranoid for a while although I knew you were having issues 😂.
Ive tried everything. Formatting sd card. running lower settings. Factory resets, firmware update via app, hard firmware update via sd card. New camera, new battery. The things just a piece of 💩
@@fariedroopen5441 yep always fun them heavy commutes 😄 definitely more enjoyable on track mate. I actually run road shift on this. I’ve never bothered swapping to race shift
Wow ,those redlines are 🔥,im no strèt racer but manage to leave most bikes behind on takeoff without having to try too hard, that low grunt is intoxicating 😅😅.
Got my sv650s 2009 a month ago after 20 years of not riding, dark grey with black rims. Will be year's commuter ,cant wait for those early morning rides.
Last night I went on a Moon Run here in South Africa whereby about 20 of us on everything from New Gen Busas to K5 and everything in between basically race from bar to bar through many of the mountain passes here in Cape Town. If I told the entire RU-vid community that the little SV destroyed almost everything that was available as the smallest capacity and lowest powered bike they wouldn't believe. I'm 43 and have legged and owned many a bike in my life but Suzuki SV650 is the creme of cremes in the fun stuff.
I wouldn't ride anything else one eye in high wind over ou Kaapse Weg mountain pass at night and at 25 years old my gen1 curvy is super reliable and never a drop of oil on the driveway.
