My name is Christian. I’m an Elevator Enthusiast based in My home State of Illinois-Midwest USA. Also travel in other parts of the World as well when I can, along with My Guide Dog/Service Dog to film all types of Elevators too. I also do have multiple Disabilities, 2 of them being a Vision Impairment and Autism.

This is a really cool Museum to go to. You have to purchase Tickets to even get in here as well. (It’s only an hour away from DuPage County, Illinois + 30 minutes outside of Downtown Chicago.)
Also get here while You can, this Museum will be closing for good on September 14, 2024. (Converting to Office Spaces unfortunately.) However, there’s going to be a new one at a different location at some point + I’ll be here to film this Elevator 2nd and final time for an event that’s taking place on that day.

This Elevator video was made on My 23rd Birthday! I’ve been curious for years if there was another Elevator at the end of the Hallway, on the 4th floor in this Medical Office Building. Well now I checked out what was at the end of the Hallway and was correct. Yes, I’m aware this is a Service-Staff Elevator, but I wanted to take for a quick spin, so that’s what I did.
Otis did slap on these fixtures sometime last year I’m pretty sure. There’s 4 videos of these as Dover Impulse + a Service Elevator down the hall that’s original still that I didn’t know about until now.

If I don’t hold the button down via just push it fast, it won’t Ring the Up Lantern + The Doors would close fast. That’s why I slightly pushed it for “the glitch” to happen.
I’m glad this Westinghouse is completely untouched compared to the Hotel/Guest Elevators. This one has a very unique personality, since it always likes to park on LL when not in-use. It also has this glitch where if You push the Button on LL to fast, the Dinner Bell won’t ring and it’ll immediately close after it has opened.
it’s starting to really become very common that Westinghouse elevators are getting Schindler mods! I had now seen every video that Westinghouse gets modernized by Schindler. Schindler mods are really common in Westinghouse!, I remember schindler RTs having that Westinghouse blood & especially when modded into Schindler! In my opinion, Schindler must have bought out Westinghouse!
