Great documentary. As a Ugandan, the big question for me is how one Bemba Musota ends up becoming such a foundational figure in Buganda politics that all Kabakas (kings) of Buganda - up to and including the present Kabaka Mutebi, have carried the title "Bemba". Clearly there was also a northern migration by a splinter group of the Bemba into present day Tanzania and Uganda. I believe some Tz tribes like Baziba on the western shores of lake victoria, were also part of the same northward Bemba migration. I challenge this chanell to do some more research to shed more light on these conections. Thx again. New sub.

As the DRC 🇨🇩 population you have referred to as NGANDU in the then ORIENTAL PROVINCE (PROVINCE ORIENTALE) and EQUATOR PROVINCE (PROVINCE DE L'ÉQUATEUR), this population occupies the territory called YAHUMA. MONGANDO is someone who belongs to the NGANDO tribe whereas BANGANDO is plural of MONGANDO. BANGANDO (people) language is called KINGANDO and to communicate with other tribes around them like LOKELE, TOPOKE, MBOLE,... they use either LINGALA🇨🇩🇨🇬 or SWAHILI. NGANDO people are skilful fishing people, agriculture people and hunters. Here are two (2) names belonging to BANGANDO: 1. EMENGI. 2. LOYOMBO. N.B. NGANDO in LINGALA means CROCODILE 🐊. Thank you so.much for the rich history. I learnt a lot. Most of our history has not been documented and is usually shared by word of mouth. We need to properly preserve this history in a proper way for our future generations. Could ypu also do another presentation on how all the bemba tribes came about i.e in Luapula and Northern Provinces

U need to research more on boundaries. U r restricting yourself to mordern political boundaries drawn by Europeans. The boundaries u in our history are totally different and go beyond the current bounndaries.
