Im a united airlines flying guy and flew continental which is why i stuck with united. Recently flew to copenhagen from ewr via SAS and was floored by the outstanding service, comfort, meals, reclining seats, large lcd screen. Now i see why american sucks
@@tobiismad I'm totally not surprised that SAS retired it's 737 feet and didn't replace them with 737 maxes and insted ordered airbust a320neo's and or other narrow body aircraft from airbus and they no longer operate any boeing aircraft whatsoever I'm their fleet nor are they planning on ordering any Boeing aircraft anytime soon. Especially after the recent PR disaster that boeing is now facing and being exposed 😭😭. Likewise they also ordered a350s for their wide body aircraft and not a single boeing wide body. No surprise whatsoever as one of the safest European carriers they don't want to ruin their reputation like Boeing has. 😭😭
@@tobiismad Sad to see how corrupt Boeing has become cutting corners and shit on the 737 max and even the 787s are having some quality control issues. So of course airlines are starting to loose trust in Boeing and are turning over to airbus instead. I can tell you love America by your profile picture so do I trump 2024 but I digress. Even still I believe that Europeans do some things better. They have a culture where they value quality over quantity instead of just valuing profits. For example there houses are built out of concrete and steel and mist Americans think that a concrete house would be "too expensive" when in reality single family European homes are on average cheaper then the average single family American home yet there buit better where they can withstand severe weather and fire better as well as rot and temite proof unlike our conventional north American popsicle stick houses. And overall there building materials are batter. That should tell you something. That American homes are built as cheap as possible (especially recently) cutting corners and just enough to meet the local code and sell them at an expensive price to maximize profits. That's modern day America for you a big corporation monopoly.
We just booked and although we’re excited to go, however it took me back when they charge $70euros for check in and the only 8kg for a Carrie on which seems to be extremely low! Any suggestions or tips?
Long haul flights are one reason sas is loosing money and pretty obvious with that many empty seats. I just do not get how they chose their destinations. Sorry Chicago but ive never heard anyone from sweden or copenhagen say they are excited to go to chicago 😅
When I flew SAS they had gluten and dairy free food for us. We got a whole gluten free sandwich and some other snacks. We just had to let the flight know a week before
Many food options are available such as gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian. If you don't see the option online, call the airline. One benefit of have a special meal, you will usually get your meal before everyone else with the regular meals.
