Growing up in the 1950s I had dreams of growing up to be a cowboy like this. I watched the cowboy shows on TV but I quickly lost interest in them. I read all kinds of books on cowboy, ranching, etc and I just wanted to be there. I became a Marine at 18 years old and served for 30 years. I’m 72 years old now and I still love to read books and watch videos about cowboy and horses and cattle drives, etc. Thanks for posting this video.

I have extensive experience with Ray Dorwart and I still have three pairs that have been through thick and thin. He’s the best bootmaker walking the earth. I know folks will disagree, but that’s just because they don’t know One day Ray will be gone and we will have lost someone irreplaceable

The felt cowboy hat is an American design based on the old country felt hats and the spanish/Mexican palm leaf hats. It really kicked off with stetsons boss of the plains hat.

Rodeo is of Mexican!!! Mexico National Sport is Mexican rodeo. And its a UNESCO protected. Why Americans exclude Mexicans from the story oh let me guess racism its bad enough Americans do it bit also the spaniards say they are the original cowboys. Can people sink any lower??? Its very egregious and in bad taste to usurp an entire culture and NOT recognize its origin lay in Mexico and not in Europe and definetly NOT in American culture.

Wow, if only you knew, you really mean well when you speak of your culture, but there is so much that was taken from you. You really have no idea about the things that you hold on to, that you treasure. You have compassion for an empty page that has been forcibly erased and forgotten over time. You treasure trinkets, symbols... and you put so much value on them. So much so that I've wondered how your people will react when I finally reveal the simple yet amazing truth of your precious treasures. I asked God for help with teaching a troubled student and made an amazing discovery back in October 2018. And I've been perfecting it every since. It's the answer to so many things. It also reveals and exposes so much that you can weigh everything on it. Why am I addressing you. I'm beginning to study the drum.... to take all of the guesswork out of that, too. I'm willing to sell rights to my discovery for $20-million dollars, as it is worth so much more because it affects every industry. I figure there are 39- tribes, at 500k each. It's too much info to discuss here, plus it's a gift that keeps on giving. But again, you have no idea.

Chris Ledoux is a big name here in Wyoming. Not a single true born Wyomingite doesn't know his name. His music is still respected and loved by everyone. I have another connection with Chris Ledoux apart from being a native Wyomingite. My maternal grandfather passed away three weeks ago this Saturday. And I have few good memories with my grandfather, due to alienation by his wife. But one of the memories I was able to make with my grandfather, was him sharing with me his love for Chris Ledoux. Now, when I listen to his music, I think of my grandpa. I'll always wish that the children my husband and I will have someday could've met my grandpa. But I hope through the memories I have, and through the music of Chris Ledoux, that they can know the kind of person he was. Rest in peace, Chris. And thank you for giving me a way to connect with my grandpa.

The original model of “The End of the Trail” was created by James Earl Fraser in 1894 when he was 17 years old. Its completed size was only 18 inches tall. As mentioned Fraser replicated his masterpiece in plaster for the 1914 Panama Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco which was where Shaler (of waupon) first beheld the work of art. The child of pioneer farmers, Shaler witnessed the plight of Native Americans and was saddened by their disappearance. As a tribute, he commissioned James Earl Fraser to cast the statue in bronze at a cost of $50,000 and gifted it to the City of Waupun. The sculpture was unveiled at its present site on June 23, 1929. In 1975, the statue became a Wisconsin landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Sites. LOCATION: Shaler Park, 400 N. Madison Street
