Very classical, I don’t feel an African American jazz influence . He is king of the sixteenth notes in jazz fusion with powerful influences from Herbie and McCoy, IMO.

I'll explain: The tune, which starts at :56 is "Background Music," written by Warne Marsh, which is based on the chord changes for "All of Me." Goldberg's solo makes many references to the original melody for "All of Me" (as does Avital's). Got it, kids? Now, play nicely, OK?
the best version of Monks " Ruby My Dear " that I have heard on guitar , great performances all around . A talent like Kurt's comes around maybe once a lifetime . He is a great one . I love the way he doesn't let the guitar , or his ego get in the way of the music , Amazing !
