I did some experimenting and I found that it’s because my wolf had a major injury. Otherwise if I give them a rabbit they’ll eat it themselves. It’s a cute little touch that makes them feel more real and less like a mindless npc lol
a short moment i caught while playing that i wanted to share. my wolf and his mate were struggling so bad, both starving, and when his mate caught a rabbit he dropped it in front of my wolf to eat. later when my wolf caught a rabbit i tried to give it to him, but he picked it up and dropped it back in front of my wolf. it was just the cutest thing ever. whoever on the wq team programmed this, good job c':
0:22 My favorite one is the second wolf coat! Yup, they gray-ish one. Although when I play with it, I make the character look way more lighter. Don't ask why
Looks like fun for 5 minutes. Sadly no real gameplay as far as i can tell and more a walking/flying demo. The flying does look nice tho, i like the models and animations. I didnt play any of these, but the competitors look better, like isle, path of titans etc.
Can’t argue there. The only ways to really have fun on this game right now are Deathmatch or if you’re playing with a bunch of friends and you go around killing people in pvp. Breeding is boring af. They’re doing a big update February 17th that’s gonna add AI animals to fight, a more interesting map, and new dragons though. I hope it goes well
I had no idea that this game existed. I love how the dragons fly, the different designs and sounds they make, even the camera movements. The biting move seems odd, but this really brings my how to train your dragon fan era back.
The game is still very much in development. They’re making a whole new map and more dragons. Hopefully they improve mechanics as well like dragons being able to collide instead of going through each other lol
Im surprised they even give you the option to bite it lol, I highly doubt most players would ever bite a dog unless it went for their pups or something
I first saw these dogs during the courtship task, and I was like "ooh, those are cool wolves" and I couldn't figure out for the life of me why I wasn't able to persuade them or why the other male wolves around me were chasing them off, then I went into scent view and read their scent and was like oh, that's why lol
My absolute fav ones are 3:03 and 5:31! 2:41 has similar vibes so i kind of like that too but there's something off about It, idk, maybe the Eye shape or Yellow patches here and there
I made a wolf named “Dog Slayer” so far i’ve slaughtered 209 dogs in a life time as it. Still counting. If you ever see a wolf named “Dog Slayer” with the dog kill count in the bio, then that’s me. It has the dlc coat that looks like a german shepherd.
@@541F.31 Nothing. I just want to spite all the people who adore and protect the dogs. Like bro, it’s just a virtual dog made of pixels. Why is it considered cute, adorable, and must be protected? Why not think the same of the coyotes, foxes, and mule deer fawns(which in my opinion look much cuter then the dogs.) Seriously, fricking kids in lost river on multiplayer get pissed when I kill or attack a dog. It’s annoying, so I decided to make Mr. Dog Slayer out of petty spite. my kill count is now 541 solo, 40 assists. i went on a killing spree recently.
That would be very If dogs could mate with wolves and thus create a pack of hybrid wolves That would be nice , however, it is almost impossible for a dog to unite with a wolf. Or it would be more feasible a wolf that unites with a hybrid Wolf dog I hope they put it in the new updates
I mean wolfdogs aren’t really a good thing for them to promote, people breeding wolves and dogs irl is an issue and since wolfquest is a game focused in educating people I doubt they’d want to add anything like that. I think the dogs are just meant to be a cool little feature, not really impactful to gameplay elements at all.
Kinda wish they could've tapped into wolfdogs as possible hybrid options, but thats prolly something that they'll have to look into in the future, and it should be only exclusive to lost river, AND you can't take your wolfdogs anywhere else outside of LR, they should be that special to the point to where you will only keep them in one location, and I imagine thats gonna get boring pretty quickly... I know after spending months playing in Slough Creek, it has really overstayed its welcome, but again we'll just have to see.
That actually would be interesting! Maybe you’d have to earn this option as a sort of achievement? I know another player I played with said that it would also be a cool Easter egg to see a dog running with a wolf pack as a very rare chance. I also think it should be possible to run into dogs that would be interested in being your mate but it would also be very uncommon.
@@skelly_universe7215 coywolves only happen in either captivity or when there is a lack of breedable mates for both the coyotes and wolves. if the population of both are stable, then coywolves are unlikely. still, true.
What do y'all think of the grown up Night Lights? Which one is your favorite? Mine's Dart, but I love all of them. Tbh, I think Ruffrunner's underrated, he's such an adorable sleepy boi
